Online Ordering Multiple Modifier Selection
In-store our clover pos allows us to select multiple identical modifiers by tapping the plus sign next to the modifier name. Example: Order of three tacos with multiple meat options where the three options can be the same or different such as three chicken tacos or 2 chicken one steak. However when a customer places an order of that same three taco entree online they aren't allowed to select multiple of the same meat choice. They are forced to select three different kind of meat. Allow for Special Instructions on Online Ordering to be optional
Allow for Special Instructions on Online Ordering to be optional. Customers are taking advantage of asking for additional items on food, and employees are having a hard time figuring out if items that customers are listing under special instructions have been paid for or are needing payment collected. I tried to turn this Special Instructions off myself and there is no option to do so. I also called in to Clover to ask Tech Support to turn it off for me, they said this option is not optional to have removed.

Allow Kitchen Printing on the Essentials Service Plan
With the recent discontinuation of the Counter-Service Restaurant service plan, some smaller venues still need to print to a remote order printer, but do not have need for online ordering or the full features of Clover Dining as included in the Restaurant Growth plan.

Pick up time on receipts for Online Orders
Printing the pick up or preparation time or including it in the email notification for the online orders would be extremely helpful. The preparation time shows on the order confirmation pop up when a customer completes the order, but it is not included in the emailed confirmation and receipt.

I appreciate that Clover is always trying to improve. I think it would be a great idea if you had a focus group comprised of business owners and sales reps that you present to before making changes. For instance, yesterday you updated the reporting feature and eliminated the total number of transactions. Now the merchant must add the total of credit card, debit card and cash transactions to get the total transactions for the day. Yes, it is available on the web dashboard, but when managers or shift leaders are closing, they do not have access to this information. This…

Multiple closeout reports per day
Multiple shifts per day:
We have 2 services ( brunch and dinner) per day with 2 different teams, therefore we need a closeout report ( sales and tips) per shift - not per day

Stop Deleted Order Printers From Readding After A Reboot
When a printer is deleted as an order printer it will automatically readd itself after the clover goes through a reboot. This is an issue for retail merchants that have no need for an order receipt. Clover Advanced support has informed us that this is not a bug but "a feature" and that this is the way the software is intended to work.

Kiosk to print at Station Printer
Please have the Kiosk print orders at the Station Printer. Why is there an additional order printer needed? The Kiosk does not see the Station Printer as an option for Order Printing. Why is that? Can you please have the Station Printer automatically print Kiosk Orders? Without the need of an additional order printer. It really streamline our operation. Otherwise, we'd have to return the Kiosk.

Scheduling holiday hours
for online orders you need to be able to schedule holidays in advance so that you don't have to manually turn online orders on / off - which can lead to owners or staff forgetting to turn it back on - you should be able to add a 'holiday' schedule for online ordering

Merchant receipt needs to print the actual tax & fees not the total.
Currently printed customer receipt states the actual fee or taxes however on the merchant receipt where the customer needs to sign it totals the amounts not itemized. Automatically Add Additional Preperation Time on Large Online Orders over a Set Dollar Amount
Hello Clover,
It would be extremely helpful to have the preparation time setting in Clover automatically add an additional amount of preparation time the merchant can set for online orders that exceed a certain dollar amount.
For example, lets say the merchant wants to have Clover automatically add an additional 30 mins of preparation time for orders that exceed $100. It would be great if the merchant can edit theses parameters under the "Preparation Time" setting in Online Ordering Dashboard instead of just setting a specific preparation time.

CLOSE OUT
Cmon 10 years, and the Closeout app and what's in finance and deposits are not even close. (STILL).
Every owner feels like there is foul play since the closeout report total is always different than what appears in the merchant's bank account.

Transaction report by hour.
I would like to see a way to download a report from the Dashboard of transactions by hour. I use the CloverGo app a lot, but shows total revenue (per location). There is a way to see the number of transactions, but you have to tap 3 times to find that. A separate chart on the Go app or Dashboard would help. I prefer to see (for staffing) the number of tickets/transactions per hour. This report would be able to print daily/monthly to show sales by hour and if I need to adjust staffing. Reporting by hour with items and categories
It would be incredibly helpful to have a report that shows how many items are sold per hour, broken down by product and category. This feature would allow merchants to easily identify their peak sales hours and understand which products perform best at different times of the day.

Tax Reporting IS INACCURATE
Your tax reporting is INACCURATE.
We need a clear way to determine meals taxes. THIS IS CRITICAL.
Your tax statements and reports are a mess. We can not use what is in your reports as it blends POS taxes with delivery app taxes. We need a way to clearly show net sales and taxes from the POS.
You currently show the amount collect from each order type at the bottom of your sales report. Please also add net sales and taxes for each order type.
