Prevent Navigating Away from an Order without Selecting "Fire All"
We support a very busy bar that is concerned with preventing theft. They do over 2 million in sales a year, so preventing Bartenders & Servers from deleting an item from an order all together was considered too restrictive. Turning that option on had them ready to take Clover out the next day.
We currently have "Edit printed items without override" turned off for Servers & Bartenders in an attempt to limit theft. Unfortunately, this prevents the Bartenders from being able to select the + on a previously ordered item when a customer orders a 2nd or 3rd round of the same drink.
Some bartenders are selecting the back arrow to navigate away from the tickets to avoid printing the items. This leaves them free to delete items & add more of the same item when duplicates are ordered. Their avoidance of firing tickets is leading some employees to fail to "fire all" when food items have been ordered.
We need a way for Servers & Bartenders to be able to delete items while they are first adding items to an order. However, once they have navigated away from the check, they should no longer be able to delete items without a manager.
We also need our Servers & Bartenders to be able to repeat items without being able to delete the item.
Lastly, if that item was initially ordered during Happy Hour, the repeated item should ring up at normal price if ordered after the Happy Hour has ended.
These fixes would make a big different for us. Thank you!
