We need to control what items are available online when. For example, we only want to offer lunch items from 11 -2, dinner entrees from 5-9, and all items unavailable from 2-5. Currently, we have to have the whole menu available all day, which is a logistical nightmare.

The new Day Part feature is only for the POS register. However, it does not work for Online Menus. We have direct integration with Doordash. Doordash only allows 1 menu to be pulled from Clover. If you have direct Doordash integration, you CANNOT use the Doordash day parting. So our only solution is Clover day parting. This is where it should be done anyway, because if you have Doordash and Grubhub, etc. you want them all to follow the same menu. The Online Menu does not have the ability to turn certain categories off for certain days/times of day. For example I have a Brunch Menu I only want to serve on weekends. During the week I do not want Brunch to be available online. However during the weekends I want Brunch to be available from 10am - close and Lunch to be available from 11am - close. The new day parting feature does not address online menus.
