The digital gift card feature is no longer showing up on the gift card app. This is a useful feature because we don't have to always use the physical gift cards.

Customer Phone Number Field
Customers ---> Edit Customer or New Entry
Please allow for copy/paste functionality for phone numbers.

Option to select a saved email to send the receipt to after a transaction
After we process a payment, there should be an option to select a main email accounts to send the payment receipt. At the moment, we have to manually type in the email account each time we want to send the receipt to our email.
This will save time and also reduce error by not needing to manually type in the email for most transactions.

Customer Purchase History Transfer
Customer purchase history needs to be able to be transferred from one Clover sales channel to another. At this time there is no 3rd party app to assist with purchase history - only customer name. This is important for repeat business and for the merchant to engage on going with their customers.

“Points towards perks” should actually reflect points
“Points towards perks” should actually reflect points. I entered a receipt code from a $3k, purchase the receipt said “Get 3707 points towards perks”. Then I entered a code from the same establishment where my receipt said “Get 12000 points towards perks”. I got the same exact 5% off QR for the $12k purchase as the first purchase. So there are no points - this is a garbage gimmick. And if the “point reward” is chosen by the vendor, perhaps you should advise them that not offering a “reward” would be better than finding out they give everyone the same…

Update to my "clover rewards not working" issue
Full disclosure regarding my "clover rewards not working" complaint write up:
My previous write up was extremely critical and I want to now speak of a much better customer service experience.
Today, tech customer service rep, Rodney, helped me to see that my rewards program is working as intended by reviewing my dashboard. My issue was not the rewards program.
The problem we still have, however, is our orders app on our clover duo is not working correctly when our customers "check in" with their phone number. We would like to check how we can add a feature that could improve workflow efficiency in the Clover system. When creating or viewing customer details, it would be very helpful to have a “Reorder” option available directly within the customer profile.

rewards no longer available
Your marketing dept took the awards program away from me without warning. They say it is because my business code is retail cigars. Clover should not be the social police. A liquor store across the street from me has clover rewards and sales cigars! In fact if you search for cigars on the clover mobile app, many cigar retailers still show up. But no longer me. It is not fair to take away a great program because someone in Clover marketing does not like tobacco. Stick to making great POS systems and but out of social engineering. Allowing some cigars…

Option to extend Expiration on promo
I would like the promo feature to be more user friendly by allowing us to extend the expiration date before the promo ends. I would also like customers to be able to scan the coupon on their side on the mini and not have to hand their phone to staff.

Order Receipt email or phone number missing
When Payment is made, Clover does not bring in the customers email or phone number from their bank, we dont want to have to manually put it in every time.

Keep customer Promo opt in status when moving MIDs
I have a prospect I'm working with who is currently being grossly overcharged by their current processor and looking to move to us. They use Promos often, and wanted to know if they'd have the ability to do so after moving to us.
I spoke to presale support and as well to the customer engagement team, and they confirmed that when I move the contacts to the new MID, it does not keep them opted in to Promos.

Clover Gift Card Order Quantities Result In Multiple Orders & Shipping Fees
There currently isn’t a way to edit the quantity of a Clover Gift Card order once it’s been submitted, not even through Clover Gift Support. The only available option for editing an order is to cancel within one hour. This creates a problem when the required quantity isn’t available as a single order option. For example, if I need 600 cards, I have to place one order for 500 and a second for 100, which results in paying shipping twice and incurring a higher per-card cost for the smaller order.

Customer tags
We should be able to add tags to customers for integration with apps like Mailchimp, that way they only have to be updated in one location. For example, we have customers that receive a wholesale discount of 10% or 20%. When we send promotional emails, we like to include prices specific to the customer.

Add PNG and JPEG Business Promotion deals on Duo mini screen
Use the customer facing screen from the station duo 2 to upload marketing jpeg or PNG announcements, when the customer is waiting for payments, multiple promo ads are changing every 5-10s on the duo customer facing screen

Customers app direct link
There was an option within an order that would take you directly to the customer's profile (marked by a blue box with a pencil inside of it, just below the employee's name that was taking the order). Can you please add that back in? I noticed it missing about 8 days ago. I thought it was a setting on my end, but it was due to a software update.

Exporting contacts for email automation - Moosend specifically
I had square and could sync my customer data to my email platform (Moosend), now I see that I need to purchase an app, however I can't find one that offers compatibility with moosend and I'm not going to switch my email platform. I also can't believe what cost me nothing extra per month (Square), I now have to nickel and dime to add on apps to provide the same features I once had before. I wish there was more INCLUDED with clover.
