Welcome to the Clover Retail Forum.  You're here because you are a Clover Retail merchant and would like to submit ideas that you feel would enhance/improve Clover's current offerings in the Retail space. 

In order to submit your idea you'll need to give it a Title then select the Category that best matches your idea.  Below are brief descriptions of the Clover Retail Categories.



Here are quick descriptions of each category so that you can easily locate and post ideas in the correct place!


1. Order: Ideas relating to the process of creating and managing Orders.

2. Appointments: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clover’s Appointment software.

3. Website: Ideas relating to your Clover branded website.

4. Employee Management: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clovers employee management software. This includes permissions, viewing and editing employee roles, employee satisfaction, scheduling, owner access and more. If you have tipping suggestions, please include these ideas in the Tipping category of the Taking Payments forum.

5. Customer Engagement: Share your thoughts on Clover’s built-in software that allows businesses to manage customers including viewing/storing customer information.

  2. It would make adding or making mass edits to items if there is a "previous item and next item" buttons on the top somewhere when edit a single item. This would just take you to the next item in the list you were in. instead of backing out and finding the next item.

  5. I am a UX designer and I use your card ready often at my local coffee shop. Almost every time i use it, I mindlessly pull my card out too early. I paid attention to why I am doing this and it’s because you are using the same animation to insert the card as you do to remove the card. When this animation plays to insert the card, I have already inserted my card, so for a split second, I think it’s prompting me to remove it.   7. I have to see the Notes section of every past paid invoice to be able to see which events they've registered for. If I could have a custom report that exported to Excel with the Customer Name, Date, Amount Paid and Notes section (which shows exactly what dates they purchased), I could easily check this data without going back manually through every order receipt (which is the only way to see the Notes section now).

  8. Reports should add up correctly. You should be able to filter it for what you need. But the issue at the moment is the totals on the reports don't add up and we spend days trying to reconcile and balance so we can do taxes. Please fix this ASAP i think a lot of business need this.

  10. I was told that the points/rewards would be tracked on my phone/app? and I would be notified when rewards were ready. How many points do I need? How do I track them or correct the records?

  11. The ability to edit the price when going into Register and selecting the item. Have a toggle switch for edit pricing under Price Per Copy with no quantity limits.
    Variable pricing does not work
    because it limits the quantity count.

    Our old POS had a check box for adjusted pricing. Whenever we pull up that product, let's say a color copy at $.039, we could click on the price and change the cost immediately when creating an order. All of this without going back into Inventory and changing the price. It's a price change just for that particular order then…

  13. Please allow the Sales Overview to populate third party gift card information in the "Gift Card Activations" section of "Sales". The Register app populates Gift Card Redemptions as as Item but activations are not captured. Not acknowledging third party data for gift cards creates a gap in sales and tax reporting which makes bookkeeping more difficult than it has to be.

  15. First, let's start off saying that I love the clover system. Very user friendly!!
    When doing inventory is it very organized in a-z order but when working the inventory in letter beginning in f after editing it sends you back to the top start. If it could hold the inventory where you left off would be very helpful especially when clearing out old inventory. In reporting, items sales breaking down the categories for sales report it used to hold the category you have selected for the next day now it clears, and you have to select the category items from…

  17. We do not use the full inventory system, but we do enter a category (one of 10) for every transaction by using the "Register" app. We have removed all permissions for the "Sales" app. However, there is not reporting option that provides us with transaction totals by "category". We need this option.

    Daily batch reports do not total by category nor is there any report that filters by category. Tech support has told me there is no such option.

  20. A quick reference guide for frequently used functions was expected when we switched over to Clover. I will make my own for my employees but it would be nice if Clover would put one out.
