Welcome to the feedback forum for Clover Customer Engagement Features. Please share your ideas for how we can update our Clover software to improve customer experiences, increase traffic, and retain loyalty for merchants. Specifically, this forum should only include ideas about built-in functions on the Clover Dashboard (feedback on customer engagement apps should be included in the Apps/App Marketplace forum). We are listening and we use this feedback to prioritize our roadmap.

  1. We are seeing duplicate customer in the customer file. I suspect that there is a sync issue between the customer file, rewards, & text/email receipts. We can manually add a customer on the back end, but when they sign up for rewards it creates a new customer record. On transactions where we have a validated customer, if we select to email/text them a receipt it prompts us to re-enter phone number/email address which creates yet another duplicated customer record. How do we keep our customer file 'uncluttered' with duplicates?

  2. I would like to send my customers a birthday coupon for each month. So if there is a way to group just the birthdays for one month to send to only those customers that one month. Like January birthdays could be pulled up and send a mass text to just those customers with a Happy Birthday message and a coupon. Then month to month for the year. I do have my customers set up on the reward program so I do collect their birthday information each time they sign up. Thanks!!!

  3. I am a retail store. Once customer has put in their info (phone number) for the reward program I would like for their first name to pop up on my side of the register. That way I can thank them by name after transaction is finished.

  4. Since the Station DUO (previously called the PRO) came out i haven't had a more frequently requested suggestion from my retail merchants. Typically if a customer has a phone number or email on file in the customers app the merchant has the ability to select email receipt or text receipt (on file) after the sale. This option is still here w/ the station duo however on the customer facing display the options for email receipt/text receipt will not autofill w/ the customers info on file. Rather if they desire to receive their receipt via text/email they have to manually enter…

  6. Allowing sellers to define the values of points would provide them with far more flexibility. For example, a bakery could award 3x points for specialty or custom items, 2x points for seasonal goods, and 1x points for everything else.

  7. Currently Promo notifications are only able to sent between 11am-7pm EST and any promos sent before or after that time will be delayed until the next time window. Would like to increase the window of time for Promo notifications to be sent. Example 7am-11pm.

  8. Gift cards are so expensive through clover gift cards and when I submit them there should be a better system to help owners make sure their final design works. The cost is almost not worth offering to customers.

  10. Do you know how Clover now offers the ability to sell digital gift cards online from that hosted customer facing webpage that gets created...

    I think that having the ability to create a hosted customer facing webpage that would allow a merchant to put this on their website would be a great idea in the same way that they can sell digital gift cards online

    Functionality on this gift card webpage could include the ability to trace the history of a particular gift card as well as be able to do a live balance inquiry

  11. As a customer it is annoying to have to enter my email address with every transaction. Square is able to retain a customer's email address (presumably tied to credit card).

  12. I would like to customize the text that is displayed on the customer facing mini to encourage people to join our reward program. Similar to what I can do with tipping, just for this.

  13. I process for a growing franchise called Outer Banks Boil Company. The annual growth is absolutely exponential. They specialize in low-country boils where they offer "Pots to go" for people that want to steam themselves, or catering where they come to your vacation home and do on-site boils. Currently the Clover Gift Cards app allows you brand your physical gift cards, however you cannot do so digitally.   14. Non-profit needs the ability to export each transaction by customer at the end of the year. If you add this feature, it will greatly expand Clover into non-profits.

  15. we are a non-profit organization. We need to show customer name on a receipt. Today, printed receipt shows customer name, but online receipt does NOT. We must show customer name one-receipt.

  17. Clover should have the ability to both sell/redeem gift cards in-store and online (ecommerce). Currently, gift cards can only be redeemed in-store.
