More flexibility in customer communications
The Announcement functionality should allow many more characters and the ability to include graphics. We should be able to communicate to our customers however we choose.

Report showing any manual adjustments made to Rewards points
There needs to be a report that shows all manual adjustments made to Rewards points by employees. Currently if an employee manually adjusts a customer's Rewards points, there is no report or logs for the owner to see which employee adjusted those points or how much the points were adjusted by.

Option to make tiers annual instead of lifetime
The current system offers a reward when a customer becomes a regular and a VIP, and then, for the rest of their customer life...nothing. We should be able to make the tiers annual so that customers have an incentive to make 12 or 25 visits (or whatever it is changed to) every year, not just once.

Add employee permissions for Rewards
Would like customizable employee permissions to be added for the Rewards app in order to allow or restrict different employees roles to perform different functions in the Rewards app. For example, a permission should be added to restrict or allow the ability to manually adjust rewards points. Currently this feature is available to any employee who has access to the dashboard with no way to restrict employees from manually adjusting points.

Add Function: Export a customer template
The idea I had for this came up when I was updating inventory templates for different merchants/Vendors. Instead of having to manually update new customers, there could be a customer template in the same fashion that inventory exports are. This would allow management to upload multiple customers at once without the need for a transaction. I think this would be especially useful for companies that deal with large volumes of customers like school districts and other agencies.

Customer last payment and date to be included on export & Customer History
It would be great if the last payment amount and date were included on the Customer App export along with the option to print & export a customer's history

Please allow more functionality in the Customer App
Please, please, please add the features below asap...
-Allow merchants to merge duplicate customer profiles
-Allow merchants to export all of the sales data for individual customers (needed for frequent buyer programs etc.)
-Provide different options for sorting customer names
-The customer search function needs to retrieve any part of the customer's name. For example if the customer has two last names the search function only works if you search for the first one10 votes -

Decrease the price on the gift cards. Gift cards don't cost $0.95 to print. You are already charging a fee to load the cards.

Allow customers to pay with Clover-issued gift cards in the Clover app
Clover offers gift card solutions to local companies. The customers who buy them are unable to use the gift cards with the Clover app as a form of payment. This seems counter-intuitive and the clunkiness may stop many customers from continuing to purchase gift cards.

Dashboard/ Customer contact list
Can you please add the ability when exporting customer contact list from the dashboard to see the # of transactions a customer has done. Since merchants are not able to export any information from a customer once within that customer profile, merchants are requesting on the excel sheet a column that provides the number of transactions that customer has done. We have some merchants that want to start their own loyalty program but not enough information provided when exporting the info to excel.

change automatic customer name retrieval from credit cards to optional
there needs to be a way to turn off the automatic retrieval of customer names from credit cards. All it does is add useless information to the customer list and make using that feature impossible.

Only reward points for specific purchases/Exclude certain items from earning customer rewards
Currently rewards are all-inclusive. By allowing users to manage what items are eligible for rewards sellers can promote customers to purchase specific items and reward them for doing so. For example, a seller could make it so that their in-store brand is eligible for points to encourage sales over 3rd party brands.

Digital Gift Cards should be allowed for order online 24 hours/day
Currently digital gift cards cannot be ordered outside of normal online store operating hours, which does not make sense. Digital gift cards should be allowed 24 hours/day whether store is open or whether store is accepting online orders or not for regular physical items.

it would be helpful to be able to use a Barcode Scanner in the Customers app
Other systems allow customers to use a barcode for an employee to search their profile in the system. It would be very helpful if the barcode scanner, (built in or USB) would be able to be an authorized input device within the Customers App.

Remember and associate customer email with credit card number across network in order to send receipt
This is exactly what Square does, and it works wonderfully and seamlessly. When a customer pays at a Square terminal with a credit card and inputs their email address for a receipt, the card number and email are automatically associated and saved across the network. From then on, any Square terminal will automatically email a receipt to the same address when that card number is processed.
Presumably some customers will not want this option, even if the address isn’t used for marketing purposes, so there should be a way to opt out.
