Or at least give the option to change the order.
People are trained to hand their cards to the person behind the register and if its a card that swipes I have to just awkardly hold on to their card until they figure out the tip page.
It's not intuitive the way its currently set up

I disagree, people will just tap their card and walk away if the tip button is after. Then it leaves us either choosing the tip amount for them (seems wrong and possibly illegal?) or us shouting after them to come finish their tip/transaction.

I 100% agree with this. We're definitely missing out on tips because of how the sequence is currently setup. Please allow for the tip screen to show up AFTER the card has been run.

Totally agreed. The current screen sequence is psychological demeaning to both client and merchant.
