Add a custom field to the online payment page
There should be a way that we can add a custom field to a payment page. We need our customers to enter their file# (required) so that we can cross-reference their payment to the proper account. There are preset fields we can add to the payment page but we need to be able to add a custom field labeled "File #", put it at the top of the checkout page, and make it required. That value also needs to be visible on reports and the payment receipts.

For e-commerce on our Button/Payment Link & Hosted Checkout page Invoice # or Customer ID should be added as a customized field and or required. This will help the merchant to reconcile their internal invoices if the customer should happen to go on-line to make their payment.

At least put a memo in the payment area... Very Important to know which invoice is being paid.

I agree with this post. We have many merchants who are not able to use the online payment link feature for their website because it does not allow their clients to reference an INVOICE # or something similar.
It also does not send the merchant owners or admins a simple email notification when a payment is made on their website.
Please add these 2 very simple but helpful features!
In the hosted checkout section, within/under the Customer Information field...in the future can we allow merchants to customize what information they want to be captured from customers during checkout?
Would like to add a "custom information" in the field to capture additional information from the customers. See Hosted checkout's "Customize customer information fields" pop up box (can addition be included here?).
