Welcome to the feedback forum for Clover Management Functions. Please share your ideas for how we can update our Clover management software to help merchants run their business simply and easily. Specifically, this forum should only include ideas surrounding built in management functions (feedback on business management apps should be included in the Apps/App Marketplace forum). We are listening and we use this feedback to prioritize our roadmap.


Here are quick descriptions of each category so that you can easily locate and post ideas in the correct place!


1. Clover Dashboard Functionality: Share your thoughts on how the Clover Dashboard as a whole can function more effectively. 

2. Restaurant Menus and Clover Dining: Share your thoughts on all functions that specifically have to do with Clover Dining such as Clover’s built-in menu creation feature.

3. E-Commerce Management/Clover Online Ordering: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clovers e-commerce management software including Clover Online Ordering.

4. Inventory/Order Management: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clovers inventory management software.

5. Receipt Management: Provide ideas related to order receipts here including kitchen receipts, customer receipts and merchant copies. Tell us how Clover can enhance the processing of, information on, and appearance of various types of receipts.

6. Employee Management: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clovers employee management software. This includes permissions, viewing and editing employee roles, employee satisfaction, scheduling, owner access and more. If you have tipping suggestions, please include these ideas in the Tipping category of the Taking Payments forum.

7. Software Plans: Here you can provide feedback on Clover’s software plans. Please specify which plan your idea is featuring (Table Service Restaurants, Counter Service Restaurants, Register, Essentials, Payments).

8. Other Management Suggestions: Place your idea here if you have feedback that does not fit in any of the other forum categories.

  1. The information should display the banking information actually being used.

    I had merchants being billed to an old bank account that is different from what is displayed. This was not a sync issue since it had been going on for months.

  3. Clover Dashboard settings should be mirrored on the Clover Devices.

    An admin should be able to make changes to all device settings from the device or from the dashboard.

    You should not have to log into the dashboard to make device setting change.

  4. A way to upload a file for tax rates would be beneficial for the VT merchants that have to manually choose tax rates based on where they are shipping goods. Right now each tax rate has to be manually uploaded if they do not have items.

    this is lilian from Slopey Joe ,
    i wanted to share my experience so that hopefully you can help me find a solution to this issue i been facing with our account.
    Its regarding our business ours and edit information but mainly about the hours.
    we have relocated our business address recently and so we also have changed our operating hours , i have tried endless times to edit the hours from manager dashboard under edit business information and it just wouldnt save, i have called support many times and all they helped me with is tell me…

  6. There needs to be a way for the us to access invoices via the POS and mark paid when the customer comes in to pick up the order. Which would allow us to mark the orders paid without deleting the order and having to input everything again at the register. We also need to be able to itemize the invoice for our customer. I know that you can from Square and QuickBooks.

  9. I need you to add a payout button to my device so the employees can see the payouts and it will show on their reports. I also need it to show up on my dashboard

  10. We need our manager to be able to access and edit the recurring payments.

  11. Any Admin listed should be able to see and access the Disputes tab on the Dashboard. As of now only the owner can see it.

  12. Merchants that manually settle need the ability to delete the batch if they forget to settle for days or weeks on end. this will prevent additional interchange fees due to late presentment and unnecessary chargebacks

  13. The option to email the closeout report has been removed from the Dashboard with a recent update. This is problematic for merchants that only use Clover Go. There is also no setting in the Clover Go app that allows for this as well. Please bring back the setting to email the closeout report either on the Dashboard or in the Clover Go app.

  14. Please add the current MID being viewed back under the Help button in the Dashboard Version 3 -- MANY Merchants do not know their MID and ask us where to locate it, and it's a little more involved than just "click Help at the top"; additionally quite a few merchants have two different MIDs under the same name and they go back and forth from the dropdown, but the way they used to confirm they were looking at the correct MID, was to check under help, now it's much more cumbersome.

  16. Allow the owner or admin the access to disable or change numbers for 2fa users. So that way the user can gain access back without having to call in or wait on Clover to update.

  17. I am a vender in central Florida and have number of customers that are visiting.
    There is a growing number that buy items and request to have them shipped to their home across the US.

    The Clover device does not allow for shipping to be added without taxing the shipping cost. This presents a challenge in accounting and customers question the tax cost.

    Is it possible for develop the program to add shipping without adding ang cost.

  18. When managing multiple locations with the same inventory and discounts it is extremely time consuming to be able to enter/manage discounts as they have to be entered individually under each Location. I would like for the discounts to be added to the Multi-Location dashboard like the Items etc are - with the ability to enter the discount 1 time and select which location it will apply to or at the location level be able 'select/unselect' which of the discounts apply to that location.

  19. When looking at the report sections on the dashboard it would be nice if you could sort revenue classes. I would like to see revenue classes be in the same order every single time, even if they didn't have sells for a given time period. This allows me to update quickbooks faster.
