Show employee nickname on receipts
Clover dashboard asks for "full name" and "nickname" and states directly underneath that line that the "nicknames will be printed on receipts," but that isn't the case. To protect our staff we need the Nicknames function to actually work.

Basic Request
I just have a very basic request that I'm being told is not possible... But is vital to running a restaurant for receipt management and accounting purposes...
- Clover Dining needs to have sequenced check numbers that align with the register/ takeout orders. As of Now every table's check number is just the table number which is not helpful for accounting purposes.1 vote -
invoice payment notifications
Currently the invoice payment notification only comes to the email owners account. It should be able to come to an email that the owner sets as the email. We have staff that sends out the invoices but the only way they know someone has paid is if the owner tells them they got the notification in their owners email box. This should be able to be set to go wherever the owner wants it, because this is inefficient for the owner otherwise.

Keep Order history saved on the device longer than 30 days
Any data older than 30 days is no longer stored on the Clover POS device, forcing users to access a computer for this information. This change impacts business operations by requiring additional equipment that was previously unnecessary, leading to a negative customer experience. I expect this issue to become more significant in the retail environment as we approach the holiday season when returns over 30 days are more common. Additionally, we can no longer search by a customer's last name, nor can we see if they received a discount or used reward points, which affects merchant profit margins.

Receipt Phone Number
The should be an option to add parenthesis and dashes to the phone number that appears on the customers receipts.

please add a toggle button to turn off/on 2 receipts on POS terminal.
recently CRA audited us and they did not like your logged version of transaction since they were looking for the actual receipts. Please add a toggle button to turn on/off 2 receipts under printing setting. I was very disappointed to learn that Clover has removed this option to print 2 receipts at the same time and now its manually done.

processors receipts
There is a new update that autoprints when a transaction is declined. In the past in our busy environment we would leave the client with the processor to pay while helping other customers (high volume bar) and we could see that the transaction went thru from across the bar and acknowledge payment. It now prints even when the transaction is declined. Has caused us much grief and lost payments. It should be an option to turn this off especially because it was not a feature before.

The ability to add a printer beeper/buzzer to the Star TSP100 order printer
Star already supports a printer buzzer (model BU01-24-A) that plugs into the RJ11 jack at the back of the unit. Ideally, we could set this to print to only certain order types, namely online orders that employees wouldn't necessarily be aware of.

Gift card balance on payment receipt
Please allow the remaining balance on a gift card to automatically print on the payment receipt. It slows down a business when they need to go to the gift card app to see the balance

Automatic Customer Payment Receipt control per device
Being able to auto print customer payment receipt per device basis rather than applying the setting across all devices on the same MID.
Ex, want auto customer payment receipt printed from clover stations while offering manual selection on the Flex device.

Receipt URL
The URL's on Clover receipts are so bad. I run into vendors so often that have HTTPS://WWW.NONE.COM/ -- why bother displaying that?!
Why bother displaying HTTPS://WWW or the slash at the end of the URL?
Can't it just be "restaurant.ca" or "RESTAURANT.CA" instead of HTTPS://WWW.RESTAURANT.CA/"?
I've even seen receipts where the URL is split across two lines like this:
"HTTPS://SOMETHINGCOFFEE.COM
/"There's gotta be a better way. The HTTPS is not essential. The WWW is only essential in RARE situations, as the browser will almost always attempt to add the www if browsing to the TLD doesn't work.…

Cut Order Receipts after Individual Items/Diners
Clover used to have the ability to cut the order receipt on the kitchen printer after each Item in an order. We have multiple requests from merchants to bring this feature back, and/or update so that if they are using the Clover Dining/Table app to cut between each guest.

Send Refund Receipts
Sales Activity -> Transactions -> Refunds
When we are in the Details of a refund there is no option to Send Receipt. Can we get the button to Send Receipt similar to the Payments tab? As it stands it is far too manual a workaround process to manually send a refund receipt to a customer when one is requested.

Add a description line on the receipts from the virtual terminal.
I'm in the limo transportation business, and our clients virtually order our services and we get their info including creit cards, store it and charge their card after every use and we sent them a receipt with a descripion of each charge/service on it. They often use our services frequently with different services and rates.
While there is a line in the virtual terminal under the Order Note, it does not however show on the receipt. This is crucial for us and our clients to have that description line so they can get reimbursed or identify which charge is for…3 votes -
There is a 1 email limitation when emailing receipts. The steps to email to add'l addresses is inefficient..
The ability to email multiple addresses, separated by a comma or semi-colon, should be available directly from the charge processing screen. Currently, you can only email to 1 addresses then must go to transactions, after you submit the payment, open the transaction and send duplicate receipt, also, 1 address at a time.

Merchant would like an option to automatically print multiple order receipt copies for the same order when an order is fired to the order printer.
