fingerprint
Why do we have a device with fingerprinting capabilities but the software no longer supports it. This means that we have to use a 6 digit passcode everytime we need to open the device. It may not seem all that time consuming but when you do over 4 grand in sales in a night with 3 bartenders all using the device, 6 digits is a pain **********. Please go back to using fingerprint software.

Cannot access Clover Account at all without SMS

This page describes the ability to use an authentication app for two-factor authentication.However, it is impossible for a new customer to reach their account page in the first place without using SMS.
We are a public library and there is no reason for us to have a mobile phone. We use authentication apps for other services and would be happy to use it for Clover, but your website setup makes it impossible to choose that option.
Telephone help line was unable to help with this.

Remove Default L2/L3 Data
Merchants need the ability to remove default L2/L3 data. if they enter the data not fully understanding that they cannot remove it or if the nature of their business changes and they do not ship a consistent items it is makes it a bit more difficult for them to manage.

Merchant ID (MID) no longer seen on Dashboard
Even though under business information it says "View your MID" it doesn't show up there at all...
Crazy how updates are thrown without verifying and making sure everything is correct.
Please bring back MID so when we call we know the Merchant ID number.1 vote -
Multiple Menu disappeared after new dashboard update
With today's dashboard update, i can't see the "Menu" on the left side. It has disappeared from the Dashboard.
All your articles that reference click left on the "Menu" are all invalid now. No quality control before releasing the dashboard update ?

DISABLE/DIFFERENTIATE REPRINT CUSTOMER RECEIPTS
Though it is very rare, there has been a case where the employee reprints the customer receipt and tells the kitchen to make the order for it has not been made yet.
However, some employees have been using this to their advantage and taking the food made for themselves.
It would be awesome if there was a feature where it requires a admin or manager passcode to reprint these customer receipts just like how it is done for the order receipts.
Or if possible, add "REPRINTED" or some sort of wording on the receipt paper to differentiate reprinted customer receipts…

Monthly card processing statement
I would like to see my monthly card processing statements in the dashboard.

Bring back the Online checkbox on the item page
Bring back the Online check box that was removed in yesterday's update. Now that it's removed, items that are marked as unavailable in the POS are live on the clover online menu unless actively removed in the menu options on the web dashboard. Any item that is marked unavailable should be removed on all menus or have an option to do so on the POS. Not all staff have web access to edit the online menu on top of marking it as unavailable on the POS.

Cashing Out - Online Orders
When cashing out via a mobile device for online orders customers have to manually type in their card info. Should they go to order again, they have to repeat the process. Will there be a function for auto filling/saving customers info?

P.O. Box ability
I want to know why 20 years ago running on windows xp the versa check program was able to have the DBA business address as a p.o. box that the customers could see on their quotes, invoices, and reciepts but your supposedly superior cloud based solution lacks that simple capacity. I speaking on indigenous to the customer facing info.

Multiple Menu option now available - but make it available for 3rd party integrators like Itsacheckmate or Chowly
I do see the Multiple Menu is finally available in Clover after people have been raising for over 2 years.. But, it's not much helpful if we use aggregator like "itsacheckmate" or Chowly for our integrators for 3rd party delivery companies.
Please make the multiple Menu option available for them as well. Currently i can only select multiple menu options for Clover online ordering or clover direct integrations.

Invoice Receipt business address should be OPTIONAL
I think the invoice receipt option for the business address should be OPTIONAL for owner to provide to customers. I am a new business owner and would provide online services. Clover Dashboard demands a physical address for owner to provide, this is seen by the customer when they receive an invoice or bill. This should be optional as I don't want to have customers see my personal address. I won't have a business office.

Automatic service charges for credit cards
As it stands now, we have to manually add a service charge with each order. I think Clover should have the capability of adding the charge automatically when a credit card is used.

Bring back Receipt Preview option.
Please bring back the receipt preview when you are making modifications to your payment receipts, so we don't need to print out receipts to test each change. It is sometimes not clear when you're choosing the added options how they will look on the receipt.

Seamless business phone number update
Merchant suggested to seamlessly update his business's phone number. He didn't like the process of contacting clover support, and then being transferred to merchant services.

Restrict permission on employees to remove Additional Charges from an active order
Restrict or limit permission on employees to remove Additional Charges from an order. Only admins or allowed permission should be able to remove service charge.
Operational Loss when customer is paying cash, the employee gives bill to customer, customer pays in cash, server/employee removes service charge and keep the cash that belongs to the house. This is creating an operational loss.1 vote
