Guest count included on reporting
The idea is to have included on a report the quantity of guest included on the tickets, so it can be possible to have a head count for a day

Is there any Update on the ability for Clover Dining/Table Service merchants to pull Guest Count in Reporting? I see second half of 2023 is mentioned above - that was in March. I'm hoping no later than 4th Quarter of this year

Turned on Guest Count on Clover Flex, March 1, 2023. It gives you the ability to count the number of people at the table before ordering as an option. There are two other options as well. So where does this data get reported? Can't find it on the Dashboard or in the reports?

Many restaurants are requesting the ability to require the number of guests to be entered when the order is started. They are also requesting the ability to require a beverage to be added to each guest on the order.

When a server starts a new table in Clover Dining, they are prompted to enter how many people are seated at the table (a cover count). Many restaurants rely on cover counts for reporting and staffing purposes. It would be great if it would be possible to pull a "cover" report so restaurants know how many diners they served.

The core metric of a restaurant is covers (customers) yet with Clover, there is no way to track how many people are sitting at a table and thus report on how many covers a business is doing in a period. This should be basic functionality.

I just had my largest restaurant sign up with Clover, after coming from Toast, and they were very disappointed that guest count is not reported anywhere. It is odd that the data isn't somehow available, when it seems to being inputted into the system through Clover Dining by the server having to select the number of guests upon opening a ticket/table. They said this is how they track their average guest check, note trends during price changes and prepare for "big weeks" by looking at guest counts on the same day in previous years.

Agreed. Its been planned for 2 years but Clover tracks the number of guest already so cant see why its not an easy fix.

Yeah I was looking for updates as well. It’s really really needed. Huge issue for us. We just got clover a couple weeks ago and are considering pulling the plug over it as we aren’t that attached to clover yet anyway. I’m very surprised any pos for use in restaurants would not have this feature?

Merchant will like to have an option to track the quantity
of people that comes to the business trough the Clover Dining app
(this cannot be track with the total of sales in the day because not all guest pay,
sometime only one of the guest is who completes the payment and the merchant will like to
have the option to track the total of customers who visit the business everyday). -

There was a previous suggestion to add a guest count in Clover Dining so that better reporting on the revenue per guest could be done. It was marked as planned but that was 2 years ago, any update on that issue? It really is an issue with several of our clients.
