Inventory updates should occur when an item is fired to the kitchen
Please move move the updating of inventory tracking from the time the bill is paid to when the item is fired to the kitchen. If a restaurant has 5 units and all 5 are fired to the kitchen but not paid for yet a 6th unit could be added to an order even though the item is no longer available to sell

Online menu
Online Delivery Partner integration - need to be able to provide an online menu with delivery pricing and another menu with a lower pick up price for orders placed on DoorDash or Uber Eats. Merchants are charged lower commission for pick up orders and they want to pass through savings to customer. Also, DoorDash provides merchants with online ordering and would need separate menu with even lower prices there.

Guest-to-Customer Assignment (New or Existing) and Guest Naming
Allow the ability to assign an existing or add a new customer to a specific guest at a table directly within the Clover Dining app, rather than only through the Register app or Customer app. Guest Naming: to assign individual names to guests seated at a table.

Column sorting & Column Order
When we’re in the ITEMS list, we can only sort by name. We organize our items by SKU, so it would be nice to have the ability to sort by any column. Additionally, we’d like to be able to rearrange the columns. We prefer the SKU to be the first column for referencing, so it would be great if we could drag the columns to change the order.

Communication with Engineering once a case has been created
Communication with Engineering Team
Once a case has been created, the communication almost completely stops. There needs to be a path to engineering for ISO's and Agents. More often then not the case is closed and is not resolved. If the engineers do not want phone calls, create a portal where the case lives once it is open. Agents can check their tickets and respond accordingly, making the process more seamless while getting the issued resolved in a more timely manner, keeping merchants happy!3 votes -

Re-order Modifier Groups
Need the ability to re-order the modifier groups within the item. It's too difficult to re-order all of the modifiers for each item if the merchant has 30+ modifier groups. For example the merchant needs the required modifiers to show before the others in the item.

Kitchen Printer Firing Delay options
Allow a configurable delay for firing to the Kitchen Printer when the option to print when Save or Pay is tapped to allow for declined payments.

Online Ordering 3rd party integration
Merchants using Online Ordering with Clover and have Grubhub ,Doordash, UberEats integrated. When implementing stock count on the inventory, anything that gets ordered from online "Grubhub, Doordash, UberEats" should deduct the stock count automatically.

Pre-authorization
With the new Station Duo, when the customer inserts or taps their card, the pre-auth/pay window does not automatically show up on the station window allowing the client to pre-auth the card, it rquires extra input.

Given the card slot is only available on the customer facing device we have explicitly designed the system to require an instruction from the merchant facing device to open a pre-auth and start the customer facing device to take payment. Currently, we are not planning any changes to this workflow.

negative variable
I need a negative variable option so I can add Lotto Paid Out and Scratcher Paid Out because using the Pay Out app has too many steps and time consuming. We sell a lot of Lotto and Scratchers and payout winners. It needs to be show up on the register, because we would have to pay the person out first before they can buy more. It would be easier to ring them up at the same time and it would tell us how much they owe or how much they need to pay.
It would also work with dropping cash…

Characters available for Business Name
24 characters for the business name -- not enough. Please make the business name field capable of accommodating up to 30 or 36 characters. Thank you

Allow item URLS for COLO to be shared without it taking you to the main ordering page.
When a URL for a single item in Clover online ordering is shared it takes you to the main ordering page rather than the specific item.

Pizza Buider
The biggest thing that we find lacking with Clover is a Pizza Builder Function. Having Pizza size prefix's choices that show in front of the item name instead of a modifer, listing below. Currently the size is done as a modifier or separate menu item buttons, a prefix choice could make ordering much smoother and order receipts much easier to read. Also, modifier groups that can be priced according to the size or half topping choice, instead of having multiple modifier groups for whole topping, left side/1st half, right side/2nd half. Tracking Losses & Courtesy Items
Need a option/process to track Courtesy/Spills in Restaurant/Bar environment to account and report for these items, with out it affecting the sales numbers on the reports. Once the order is open & printed to Kitchen/Bar and an event occurs to the order and it is declared a loss/spill or courtesy. The order will remain unpaid and declared a loss/courtesy, it needs to appear on daily report and be tracked weekly/monthly/annually for reporting to government agencies. Specially on liquor.

Improve Export/Import Item List Data for better integration
Currently, "description" is supposed to already included for export/import but that is not the case. Additionally, pictures is not an option. However, there is much more data that should be included with data transfer, that could be optional by the account owner. Make everything available and optional for export/import - including the current state (at the time of export) of each item.
