It would be extremely helpful if we could define a Start & Stop time for each Day selected when configuring a Daypart.
If a business is open until 2AM on a Monday, for example, it would be nice to be able to configure a Daypart that extends from 10pm on Monday until 2AM on Tuesday.
Example 1:
My Bar charges $0.25 cents more for drinks Friday from 7pm - 2am & Saturday 2pm - 2am
We would like to configure a single Weekend/Live Music menu with the flexibility to define different hours of availability throughout the week. This way we would only need to manage pricing on the Default POS Menu & the Weekend/Live Music menu.
Example 2:
My bar wants to hide food Categories after the kitchen closes. The kitchen closes at different times throughout the week.
I also have some entrees that are only available from 5pm until the kitchen closes. These entrees can be purchased in-store and online after 5pm.
I occasionally have limited menus for special events like Mardi Gras & Cinco de Mayo, during which time I would like to display different Categories.
As you can imagine, I will need to create several menus to show the correct Categories before 5pm, after 5pm, and after the kitchen closes on the different nights of the week. More time ranges under the Dayparts setup would cut down on the numbers of menus needed significantly.
