QR code improvements
We recently added Scan to Pay at our location. The feature is receiving positive feedback from both staff and guests. However, the QR code only prints when printing a full table bill. No QR code prints when splitting the check. The QR code was a plus for me, as an owner, because we do a TON of large groups with split checks and this speeds up efficiency in check out: potentially reducing future labor costs.
We have a work around for now, but it's clunky and time consuming. For any other full service restaurant owners facing this issue, we are moving individual guests to a "float" table (ours is labeled TO GO in our system) and printing the individual guests as whole tables.
