  1. New updates do not make logical sense for restaurants. When managing items day to day, there generally is not time to log in to the dashboard, then go through all the steps (9 I believe), just to take an item off. Additionally most employees do not have access to the web dashboard. This creates issues with items being ordered that the restaurant is out of. It would be great if industry professionals were more involved before making changes that will untimately lose merchants.

  2. We received an email "Manual Refund Update" which said to call Clover Service Center (no phone number or links so not likely to be phishing), in order to help prevent fraud

    Your customer service representative has no idea what I am talking about.

    My suggestion is there should be communication with your personnel if this is a legit email, so they are aware of their role in fraud prevention.

  3. I am unable to see the value of all quarterly recurring accounts. It just shows the number of accounts. Migrating from a previous merchant account where this feature was active. Certainly would help to see the total amount that will be charged to the various accounts as opposed to just the number of accounts.

  4. As a business owner transitioning from Payeezy to Clover, I would like to say that the Clover customer service is non existant.
    I would propose investing in the people handling the customers. All my encounters with the agents were terrible, they have no knowledge of the products or/and how the system works.
    We take recurring payments, and nobody could explain how the system works or why it does not do what their own instructions advise you to do.
    There was no training nor welcoming instructions on how this platform performs. So far, it is net inferior to what Payeezy used…

  5. When I check out I use with my Apple Watch (Apple Pay). Every time / trans I have to type in my email address xxxxxx how cool it would be if it would remember it when I swipe with my watch

  6. Do you need a spokes person? Because everyone i meet i tell them to get a Clover. I used this debit machine when I was in the service industry. (I especially like the sneaky camera, shhhh dont tell the customers)

  7. I would like to suggest that when using a QR code to accept a sale, that the app sends your phone a notification of the sale. I know xxxxx qr codes do that, it would be really nice if clover would notify us too. I use QR codes on merchandise that I have placed in retail locations, and I love the QR code feature! A notification would be amazing! Perhaps a little more information could be created too when creating a QR code, so when notified you would see, "Stan Green purchased a yellow whatcamacall it for $20.00 at Ann's…

  9. Need to be able to enter an item then multiple it by the number of items sold.
    In our MediSpa each client is different in terms of the number of units of Botox (for example) used in a procedure. If client requires 24 units, we have to enter the unit 24 times. Very cumbersome.

  10. Need to be able to apply a dollar amount discount to the entire tab rather than to each item. For example, in our MediSpa we have a client how is administered 18 units of Botox. Each unit price is $11. We want to give a $25 discount.

  11. I just wanted to leave some feedback about disputesd charges. Whenever we get a dispute, we get no information about what they are disputing. Am I just suppose to say OK, here is $200 back for no reason? I very much would like to know the reason for any dispute charge we get. Do you think you were overcharged for something? Did you hit the wrong tip amount? I need more to work with before I can even attempt to resolve whatever issue they have.

  12. I have a client that has auto settlement set at 6:16pm PST in FDPOS. The Closeout screen in the dashboard is showing 5:30pm closeout so when they run a sale after 5:30pm, the totals in the dashboard don't match his deposits. Please sync the closeout time in the dashboard "closeout" screen with the auto settlement time in FDPOS. Or allow merchant to adjust the closeout reporting time manually in the dashboard. If the Closeout screen can't be fixed, you might think about removing the Closeout screen completely since it's causing more confusion to merchants than anything else.

  13. Currently there is a no default option to 'require' input of the CVV on a manual transaction. This makes fraudulent manual card entry easier. Having a setting that requires the CVV would eliminate instances of fraud where the scammer has the card number and expiration date but not the CVV (this is all they currently require to 'force' a transaction).

  14. The Venmo QR code is prominent on the checkout screen despite very few customers paying with Venmo. If the standard tap feature was prioritized or made bigger it wouldn't result in so many customers having to be directed to the correct tap symbol. With the current setup it takes multiple attempts for most customers paying by tapping.

  15. I am extremely frustrated and disappointed in Clover support. I have been having issues ordering gift cards for a couple weeks. After speaking to several representatives in several different departments there is still no resolve to this very important issue. I have been told multiple times that at order was sent to IT and the issues should be resolved in 24-48 hours. That was 5 days ago. I waited on hold for over an hour to hear the same thing today. After asking to place an order for the cards over the phone I was denied, I cant order online…

  16. Allowing the merchants the ability to cancel recurring payments within 24 hours. Currently merchants have to cancel recurring payments at least 5 days in advance. Merchants are requesting the ability to cancel recurring payments faster than the 5 days turnaround time. Some merchants are reporting that recurring payments are still charging customers even after they cancel the recurring payments. Engineering advised that merchants must cancel recurring payments at least 5 days in advance.

Respond to customers who got scammed by an employee, had multiple bank accounts closed down, don’t give reps that will scam and then block the customer, leaving your customer without a rep or any assistance. I have had a full terminal station, the whole package, signed a contract to pay every 6 months for 36 months, yet $442.50 has been taken monthly from a completely different account than given to previous “rep”, for the past 6 months AND I HAVE NOT RECEIVED A SINGLE ATTEMPT WITH ANY HELP!!!!!!!   18. INVOICING IS LACKING and not professional for the customer. It’s absolutely not user friendly or fair to boutiques or retailers selling multiple items and charging shipping unless I am missing something. PLEASE look at PayPal’s invoicing for reference. My biggest questions are….Why does Clover only allow one total for invoicing? Why does Clover not have a SHIPPING option?⬇️

  19. Dash 3 could add back some of the features that were available in the previous web dashboard:

    * ability to see the merchant ID on web dashboard
    * ability to see stock counts in the Counter Service Plan

    Switching to a different merchant takes much longer than on the Dash 2.

    As an ISO we need the MID easily accessible on the web dashboard to verify that we are accessing the correct account.
    Changing to another merchant's web dashboard is much slower on the Dash 3

  20. How about an ethical program for taking barely used hardware back for reprogramming? My business went under and to my understanding resale is not possible due to programming limitations. So this beautiful system becomes landfill! SMH
