  1. Merchant would like the ability to change the order type default at the device/station level. Merchant uses dedicated devices for dine in and take out/delivery service and it saves them time if the default on that device is set for the type of order that is typically received on that station.

  2. Add service fees to Clover Go . The merchant wants to be able to add tips, taxes and service charge together in a transaction.

  5. With more and more states outlawing plastic bags, we are forced to purchase reusable high-end high-priced bags for to-go items. In order to pass that cost along to customers, it would be nice to have clover let you add a service fee for these items by choosing the type of order so that the amount could be added only for takeout orders as opposed to dine-in orders. A surcharge by order type would solve that problem.

  6. Order receipts printed on a Star 700 kitchen printer do not follow the formatting options that are selected in order receipt setup. For example, when using a medium or small font, the printed dotted lines always print regardless if this option is selected or not in the setup. Grouping items also is inconsistent based on the font size selected. The order receipt preview does reflect the selected options, but the printer doesn't.   12. Currently the only option for modifiers display is along the horizontal top of the Station screen scrolling from left to right.

    Offer a vertical display option similar to how you can display categories with items displayed to the right. Very helpful for places that have multiple modifiers. This will speed up the transactions ordering times versus have to scroll along the top from one modifier to the next and enhance the user experience of the devices.

  13. I should not hve to be at the station to fix printer issues. We have two stations and at one station we don’t need receipts yet there is no way to turn that printer off

  15. The merchant would like the functionality of duel order receipts printing automatically. To achieve automatic printing of the order receipt the option currently selected is "print when hitting save" as the merchant does not want customers to pay immediately. adding a 2nd receipt printer as an order printer, forces the merchant to choose a destination for the order receipt which takes away the luxury of automatic printing of order receipts. Is there a functionality that could be added that will allow the receipt printer to seamlessly double as an order, as well as mimic the settings chosen via the order…

  17. There needs to be an option to do a partial refund for a specific transaction. It isn't always possible get the card number again to issue a partial refund.

  18. On the SP700 printer, using the medium font setting for order receipts is unacceptable as it uses an excessive amount of paper.

    The medium font will show a line of stars '*****' between each item (which no other font setting does) causing the margins between items to be excessively big which ultimately takes up more paper than even the large font.

    Our restaurant ends up needing to use the largest font setting for visual clarity although the medium font size should be sufficient.

    If spacing is fixed on the medium font, and items on an order receipt are aligned right…

  19. I would like to see other options for SIM card providers. AT&T doesn't have a good connection everywhere so having the option for other mobile carriers would allow for more merchants to use the SIM option.

  20. There is no Near Field Communication on the Solo.
    I don't have enough counter space for the duo but need NFC, why isn't that offered. You can ********* the oldest terminals that plug in through the phone line or ethernet, but it's not offered on a WiFi, cloud based system? Not sure what to do but its very inconvenient and my customers are asking for NFC that i cannot provide.
