The station duo absolutely needs the pre auth feature.
This is not a want, but absolutely a need. Bars/breweries/coffee shops. Basically anyone worried about someone walking out on a tab needs this feature. It is less than efficient to jump to the auth tab back and forth. The auth tab also doesn’t save to an order. Even if you can start an auth then from the auth tab create an order and it saves the card to that order, that would work. Anything less than that or the original pre auth option is less than average. Basically every other system out there can do this.

Clover Kitchen / Order Ticket Printer Sound - Alarm - Buzzer
We need the ability to alarm kitchen staff when a new order ticket is printed. The kitchen staff cannot constantly stare at the order ticket printer. So many POS/Printers offer the ability or at least a plug-n-play peripheral to make sound, however Clover chose not to build the feature to send signal to printer to make sound. This feature should have been there from the start considering how helpful it is to ensure orders are started timely. Please Please Please make this happen for the thermal order ticket printer.

Partial Refunds For A Specific Transaction
There needs to be an option to do a partial refund for a specific transaction. It isn't always possible get the card number again to issue a partial refund.

Flex paired with a Station/Station Duo-QSR

Orders only to be savable with pre authorized card on file.
I have many employees who save tabs without payment and this causes many issues. I would like there to be an option for us to only be able to save orders if there's a card on file for payment.

Duplicate payment screen needs to be removed!!
We've had Clover machines for several years and during an update in the last couple of months, this DUPLICATE PAYMENT: AUTHENTIFICATION REQUIRED screen appeared. Customers and staff both get confused, it slows processing times and sometimes we lose money as someone hits the wrong part of the screen to wake up the terminal which hits the button to decline the transaction (hard to tell where it is when the screen is blank!) by which time, the customer is gone.
I called Clover to have this removed and they advised that it was not…

Show most recent scanned item on screen
We run a grocery store and scan more than 10 items for most orders. The scanned items are shown from top to bottom. When we surpass 10, it stays on the first 10 items and we are unsure if we scanned the most recent item or not. This leads to mistakes as we have to drag it up and sometimes click on it or delete/add more of same item by accident. It is very inconvenient and unintuitive. We need you guys to update this so it automatically pulls the most recent item scanned up, or have new scanned items come…

Customer payment receipts on the Flex 3 are way too long. Would like to see the option to have them shorter so we are not using so much paper

Ask for expiration date before CVV code when entering manually
Ask for expiration date before CVV code when entering manually. Avoid going back and forth with credit card. When you put in information manually, you normally have the card number and expiration date on the front side, once that is entered you turn the card and put in the CVV code. I very often take the info over the phone and the customer is frustrated because he gives the expiry date first but we ask for the CVV, then we ask him for the date which he already gave and must give again.

Kitchen tickets settings
Please include setting to print to the kitchen by category. Salad’s together fry’s together burgers together and so on. Two tickets per order 1 by category for the kitchen staff and the 2nd for servers to put it all together for guests

Online Order Notifications
Online Ordering currently only notifies via email for Scheduled Orders, and Merchant would like to set it so ALL Online orders will send an email notification as just printing to the Clover Mini is not enough as their is no sound associated with the incoming Online order, Merchant either wants the ability to setup an email to notify this or to have the device to provide a sound that an online order has come through.

Clover solo needs to be able to accept contactless payments
Merchants want to tap cards on all devices…. It is easier, faster and reduces wear and tear on their chip card reader. Merchants don’t want to buy a duo just so they can accept contactless transactions. We would also like to see a simple inexpensive Bluetooth ( or connected) card reader with contactless option that would pair with solo, duo or other devices in case the main card reader breaks

Clover Go device transaction info
Before the Clover Go update we could see transactions by device (if using Clover go with iphone, ipad) and they were under devices - now it says "no payments" under those devices even though we have used the Clover Go. Can we get that feature back?

I need to print on a lexmark printer,
I process transactions on a desktop computer and after processing have to go to transactions, search for transactions and print receipt. Would like reciept to be printed automatically on my Lexmark MX511de printer the way FirstData allowed.

device sound
merchant is asking for the feature to be removed or placed at the end of a transaction where it makes a sound to say the payment was successful. States that it is causing confusion for his workers and customers, when t makes the sound, they think the payment is successful and the business is losing money as sometimes it does not go through.

Clover Station Solo must allow accept contactless payments
contactless payment is a trend. Apple pay google pay Samsung pay..... I don't understand why Clover Station solo cannot accept any contactless payments. Even old fashion counter top credit card machine can accept NFC payments. Clover Station Solo cannot !??? Can Clover engineering make it happen? at least support P550 printer as optional !!! Please!

Change DUO programing so it autopopulates credit card info when swiping
We run a brewpub with counter sales. When customers come up we ask if they are closing out their order or leaving their tab open. When starting an open tab we like to swipe their credit card and hand that back to the customer. The customer’s information is captured under the order so we have the customer's name. We currently have one Duo, one Flex, and one Solo POS device. secure the Flex from theft and misplacement
often times merchants misplace their Clover Flex especially when there are multiple units that are handled. Then there are times when they are stolen.
Clover ought to consider anti theft mechanism (loud audible alarm or temporary GPS that is activated once and then must be reset)
call it "AFTER The Flex" Anti Flex-Theft Emergency Response
Another consideration is to have a live voice response when the unit is detected as off pre-validated premises3 votes
