Allow merchants to delete all text on kitchen tickets that are not necessary for their operation
In a busy kitchen, every detail matters and streamlining line flow is critical. There seems to be no way to delete all the extra text on our kitchen tickets, despite having no use for our operation. For example, there is no way to delete "Server: NAME", despite our operation not needing this information. Also, our tickets print the time the order was received, the time the order was printed, and the date/time in a separate location - all we need is the time! Why can't we get rid of all the extra text? Finally, at the end of each ticket…

Remain in order after print bill to pay bill instead of going back to table layout
ability to remain in the order when hitting print bill to pay instead of going back to the dining app screen layout. this is just an annoying extra step.

I think that it would be great if we were able to “rearrange” the order and placement of the “menu items” when you are on the “register app”.
i find that this is a big issue.
as you enter new items into inventory, they get placed at the BOTTOM of the menu list…but if this new item is a big seller and the button gets used a lot, i would like to be able to drag it to the top of the screen so i don’t have to scroll down or search for it.colours:

Repeat Round Button in Clover Dining
Hit Repeat Round Button in Clover Dining, select Printed Drinks, and all the same modifiers, under multiple guests, Pop up stop screen, are you sure you want to repeat? Done. Adds to respective guests. This could also be used for All You Can Eat nights. Bottomless Sides, etc.

Menu item availability based on schedule
We have a lunch menu (category of items) that should only be active a certain time on certain days, i.e. weekdays. What is the best way to make this only available during lunch hours on weekdays? There is a hide and unhide of items but that is a manual process and not efficient. There is a 3rd party happy hour app but that is only applying certain discounts, not an entirely separate menu with it's own special pricing. This is a feature that is widely available on most other order platforms. Please implement this as soon as you can.

The first release is in BETA and will allow merchants to set up separate menus with different pricing for Online ordering and aggregators such as GrubHub and UberEats.
Later in 2024 we will see Day Part and By Device Multiple menus allowing greater flexibility of menu pricing,

Please give us the option to have menus on schedule.
I need the option to have menus on a time schedule. such as lunch category can only be ordered from mon-fri 11am to 3pm etc. this is a feature in most ordering systems. im not sure why it isnt on clover.

Clover Dining cashout a guest's order that wants to leave without having to close the entire order for the other guests
I want to be able to cashout the order of a guest and that the orders of the other guests remain open under clover Dinning. Right now it's not convenient for me, because many clients want to keep ordering but when a guest wants to leave, there is only the option to split the payment but you have to close the entire order.

When the menu's items are all "Tax Included"

"We have been using Clover for a few weeks and have been very pleased with it. When we converted from our old system, we carried over the prices from our old system. Each item had the “taxes included” in the price we charged.

Kitchen notified if printed order move to another table
When customers move from one table to another after the order has been printed it would be very useful if an automated note went to the kitchen to let them know. This will stop food going to the wrong table, customers giving out to floor staff and in some instances people eating the wrong food

Screen Back to table layout after hit print bill

Individualize items on the check, as opposed to X2, X3, etc.
My wait staff complains that when they have a large group and they put items in that are more of something they have already put in ( eg. glass of beer) the items are added off screen and they cant be sure if they have been added or not as they cant be sure exactly how many glasses of beer there were and cant see them as they are not visible. They can be combined on guest check, but on computer screen it is much more difficult..

Being able to disable "Food Preparation Time" on certain items.
Thank you for adding, "Scheduled Orders". I was waiting for this. But there are some dishes that require 24 hour notice to make. While the customer is on the webpage placing an order, if they select an item that would need 24 hour notice, the customer NOW has the option to pick "Food Preparation Time" in my case is 30 Min. verses only "Scheduled Orders". Ability to edit the look of the kitchen tickets
As has been mentioned many times, the font size on the ticket is too big or too small. We need a medium one, in a better font, and the ability to SEE and therefore EDIT how the ticket is going to appear in the kitchen. I don't want words cut off halfway through and on the line below for example
