Save Button for Adding Items/Modifiers
Why is there a save button if it is gray scaled and you cannot click. If changes are made in real time there is no need for a save button.

Can customers select the options more than once?UBER EATS OFFERS THE OPTION TO CUSTOMIZE THE RULES OVER THE CHOICE OF AN EXTRA ITEM, BUT CLOVER DOES NOT.
THIS MEANS THAT MY CLIENTS CANNOT SELECT MORE THAN 1 TIME AN EXTRA. IT ONLY WORKS IF I ENTER EVERYDAY AT EATS MERCHANT AND ACTIVATE THE OPTION OF "How many times can customers select any single option?"

Fix Clover Mini Gen3 Printing Sound to be smoother and not choppy.
I have a Clover mini Gen2. I upgraded to a Gen3. Now the new Gen3 printer receipt sounds really choppy and seems a little bit slower. I have both machines side by side doing a test print. I even share the sound to the Tech Support Assistant who is online speaker phone to hear both of them do a test print.
The new Clover Mini Gen3 printing is not smooth like the old mini GEN2. The sound is choppy and louder and does NOT print smoothly when it comes out of the thermal printer. Is it really supposed to sound…

Turn Guest Screen
Guest screen should have equipment to be able to pivot / spin so that the customers aren't able to view what the counter is ringing in (for example, when another guest's tab is open).
This wouldn't be necessary if we could instead choose when the guest can view the screen. For example, only view once business hit's "Pay"2 votes -

MODIFERS QUANTITY
Right now Clover does not allow you to set a max limit of a quanity for a modifer, if the require max is less than the quanity of the modifers .
For example, If you have an item of 12 Wings with the modifer of different types like (Extra Hot, Hot, Mudium, Mild, Plain , 5 different modifers) You can only set up max limit of 5 rather than 12, because their are only 5 modifers.
Just like ordering a dozen donut, If you have 8 different types of donut (Clover only allows you to put max quality for that…

4‑way split payments and the ability to further split tender types within each split.
The current system does not allow mixed tender types once a bill has been split four ways. We encountered a situation where four guests split a payment: three paid by credit card, and the fourth wanted to pay partly in cash and the remainder by credit card. The system prevented this and forced the final guest to choose either full cash or full credit, which is not acceptable in real-world payment scenarios.

Discounts Availability and Application
Problem: Once created, discounts are only available or must be deleted AND they can be applied to both Order and Item level. They are also often disorganized.
Solution: Make discounts available or unavailable (optional) so we don't have to delete them and allow them to be applicable for Orders or Items only, or both. This way employees cannot accidentally apply BOGO 50% OFF item only discount to an entire order.
Also, please give us the ability to organize discounts alphabetically or as category/groups, also allowing to display in register separately or in categories -- perhaps we can add/delete custom categories…

Partial Payments on open tabs/orders
Partial payment order Management
Ability to running an open tab/order/check after a partial payment is applied. In a bar environment it is common to have a party of guests running a single tab/order. Some guests leave and request to apply a partial payment. Others stay and continue to add items to the existing tab/order. This option is currently not possible in Clover, but available in most competitive pos products.

DoorDash Drive Tips
We have set up the DoorDash Drive Clover integration, and it works fine. But, the only tip option on the order checkout screen from the customer view is "Tips For Delivery Person". Tips go to the Dasher. The in-store employees who prepare and package the orders are not receiving any tips. Clover support was unable to assist with this.
Is there a way to add another tip option for customers to give our employees a tip on their order?

Add customer to closed order
We need the ability to add a customer to an order even after it is closed. Currently, if the order is completed, we are not able link the order to a customer. So, we are missing the ability to see customer history.

trigger order dockets to printed on completed transaction
You can choose on "tap pay" or on "invoice print" but not on completed transaction. This make no sense. when i tap pay then the customer changes their mind i go back and change the item but the docket is already printed and the meal being prepped. Should have a print docket triggerred by on completed transaction.

Delivery
Is there a reason store owners aren't allowed to choose delivery without being forced to use a 3rd party? Small town Iowa business owners provide their own drivers. There should be an option for their customers to select this when ordering online.

Assign Default Order type to register
It would be helpful to be able to assign a different default order type to each register rather than having to choose the order type every time. For example, a drive thru register could be set to Drive Thru as a default order type to help minimize mistakes in the kitchen.

Online order default tips
When you make an online order, when you check out the tip function defaults to the lowest tip amount. If the customer doesn't check none, it will default to the lowest tip amount instead of None. we need that to default to None!!!!

include service charge taxes
New Florida State Law states, Service Charge must be taxable, tips are optional to include or exclude taxes, but additional service charges needs to be taxable, please set this up for Service Charges as new state law required for the subtotal of line items sold and service charges to be taxed.
