Clover Dining: Ideas related to table management and the Clover Dining experience.

Employees: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clovers employee management software. This includes permissions, viewing and editing employee roles, employee satisfaction, scheduling, owner access and more. If you have tipping suggestions, please include these ideas in the Tipping category of the Taking Payments forum.

Engagement: Share your thoughts on Clover’s built-in software that allows businesses to manage customers including viewing/storing customer information.

Clover GO: Clover GO is a mobile POS system designed for businesses that need to accept payments on the go.

  1. Add back Revenue class in $ amounts on bar graph

    The removed item report used to display a bar- graph by revenue class in dollar amounts, now it displays it by revenue impact percentage. Please change it back

  2. Clover Cash Discounting

    CLOVER CASH DISCOUNTING - For customers that use clover cash discounting that are on a daily deduct of that cash discounting rate. There is no where to get what their actual credit/debit card deposit should be.

    The only way to figure out that actual deposit for daily rate deduct accounts is to use this formula. Say its a **** % cash discount account. Debit + Credit - **** % = actual deposit.

    This also inflates net sales due to net sales populating that extra **** % on cards. That **** % is an an adjustment so it could be in…

  3. Net Sale Report

    We have many restaurant merchants reached out and ask for the total report that provides: Gross Total (Sales + Tips) Tips Total Net Sales Total (Sales excluding Tips)

    currently there are only Gross Total and Tip total on the report.

  4. Ability to see items sold on the first page of orders

    I want the name of items sold to be shown on the first page of orders without going to receipts to read what was sold or the same way like it use to be before and thank you for your support

  5. Restore the "Tax" Column to the Main Transactions Report for Government & Tax-Exempt Audits

    In a recent update, the "Tax" column was entirely removed from the primary list view of the Transactions section. For businesses that frequently process tax-exempt orders (such as sales to government institutions, schools, and non-profits), this change has completely broken a critical audit workflow.Because Clover does not have a native, rigid framework for assigning pre-verified tax-exempt customer rules, the standard practice is to use "Remove Taxes" at checkout and type the state entity or exception details directly into the order's Note field.   7. Need column that shows Tip Amount

    Please I noticed a change in the latest update that doesn't meet my needs: let me explain.

    In both the desktop and mobile versions, when I go to

    Dashboard > Sales Activity > Transactions,

    the column showing just the "Tip amount" no longer appears; this is important for remote work (which is how I operate, since I’m not always at the restaurant).

    That column used to be visible in the previous version. Is it possible to display it again without having to download the XLS (CSV) file every time?

  8. Reverse latest Sales Activity Update

    Change my Clover back to its previous version. Clover's latest update has made my bookkeeping far more complicated, and I am looking at changing my payment platform if this update cannot be reversed.

  9. Custom date/time reporting filters don't persist on Sales Overview (Flex / Station Solo)

    The custom date/time filters in Reporting → Sales Overview aren't saving on our Flex and Station Solo. Every time we set a custom timeframe for our shift, it resets to default as soon as we navigate away or minimize the app. Please fix this so our custom shift filters stay active—my employees shouldn't have to re-enter our shift hours over and over every day.

  10. Dashboard Enhancement: PDF Export Functionality

    Suggest adding a PDF export feature to the dashboard. This functionality would allow users to easily generate and download PDF documents for:

    Receipts
    Transaction history
    Activity reports
    Other relevant records

  12. Add options to print reports based on different variables

    Add options to print reports based on different variables
    - Start and end time (multiple reports per day, option to reopen drawer)
    - Order types
    - Employees

    Add options to tip pool based on percentage of overall sales or selected revenue classes. Add option to enter specified percentage and log the data to be sent to payroll with timeclock hours.

  13. Ability to print reports on Kiosk

    Kiosk should have the option to print out reports.
    Merchants that only use a Kiosk to process need to print out reports and it makes easier if they can get it from the device.
    Some merchants don't know how login to the dashboard and navigate to export/print reports of the dashboard.

  14. Separate Reporting Category for Third-Party Integration Staff Tips

    Currently, when digital staff/merchant tips are sent over from third-party online ordering integrations (such as DoorDash via the CREATEPAYMENTRECORD API), Clover’s reporting system does not have a dedicated category to map them to. Because there is no native breakout for online staff tips, the system temporarily places them under the "Cash Deposits" section as a negative/deduction value and attributes them to "No Device".

    This behavior is causing massive confusion for merchants during financial reconciliation, as online digital tips appear to be incorrectly impacting and deducting from their physical net cash balances.

  18. Items Sale Report

    Because of food cost going up all the time, bakeries, sometimes have a lot of waste at the of the day. We need to be able to run a report that displays date, time, and items sold. That way we could have a better ideas on when to stop baking certain items during weekdays and weekends.
