Allow Date Filter for the Orders App
Many of my Merchants have requested the ability to filter the Orders tab by a certain date much like the dashboard. I realize the Orders tab on the devices only allow data for the past 30 days but being able to select and show only Orders for "Today" or "Yesterday", Or "Last Week" would be very helpful just to quickly filter the orders that show up. For restaurants that deal with managing a large number of orders each day this filter would be extremely helpful. Much like the Order Status filter which filters the orders by "Open", "Paid" "Refunded", etc.…

Cash Drawer Manager (Till Management)
Till Management, or Cash Drawer Management, should be a core product offering. There is a severe lack of reporting and controls in high volume retail environments where cash drawers are reconciled multiple times per day with multiple tenders. The development appears to be available in the Clover Sport product set and should be included in all plan levels.
This would be highly useful at all levels and it is surpassing that it has not been deployed.
Additionally:
1. Assigning cash drawers to users seems logical given that there are 2 drawer ports on the hub.
2. Adding some filters or…3 votesThank you for submitting your Idea to UserVoice.

Custom Reports
Businesses need a P&L report that shows a breakdown of the income like on the Sales Overview, but also breaks out YOUR fees between loan fees and credit card fees as it does on the deposits report and COGS like on the item sales report... I have to run those 3 reports 4 times each for a total of 12 reports to give my manager the P&L numbers!! You're already pulling all the data for the reporting, just consolidate it better..
Thanks!

CAN CLOVER SEND AN AUTOMATIC EMAIL EACH TIME A TRANSACTION IS RUN?
It would be helpful- as a small business - to get an email notification of each transaction as they are entered- so any modifications or corrections are required--

Open Orders
I give in store credit to certain customers, many of the orders are paid weeks after the original order was placed. Unfortunately, the payment is applied on the date it was originally taken and even if it was paid a month later. Affecting our Sales tax Reports creating inconsistencies. Please help us with this issue.

Merchant Selectable End of Day (EOD) closeout.
Merchant should be able to have to option to choose their own EOD time. We have variable closing times depending on the time of year, when we host catered functions, our food cart is at an event, etc. The only way to make sure we have all sales reported in the same "business day" we need to choose and EOD in the next day. While we can print an interim report, it means an extra day for funds to be processed.

Add a cross-selling report
Add cross-selling reports to find out which products sell well together. This would enable us to offer promotions tailored to our customers' needs. This could be an Excel extract with past orders detailing the products per transaction. For example, column 1: product 1, column 2: product 2, etc.
Thank you!

More Filter Choices
The recent change to the POS Sales Overview Report has information on it that we do not need. The choice between full and condensed is insufficient. Full is too much and condensed is not enough. We do not do cash posting through Clover therefore do not require those features nor do we require the Sales by Employee. It would be great to be able to select the features needed on the report rather than the catch all. We are using far more thermal paper because of the recent change to the report.

Tracking commissions for services and products sold by the staff
Since I am giving my staff commission on membership packages sold as well as commissions on products sold, it would be convenient to apply these commission percentages when closing out a sale. This would make it easy to track no only their tipping but obtain the percentage of the products or services sold.

Comparing Reports per weekday or specific date
When creating a report, it currently can only be compared to the same day last year or last week. It would be great to be able to compare to the same weekday or to a specific date and generate in one report. Currently, we have to pull two different reports and compare from there. In the tourism industry, sales on Jan 10 on a Tuesday vs Jan 10 on a Saturday are very different so it would help with report reading.

Correct COGS calculation on Sales Report and Item Sales Report
When a Sales Report or Item Sales Report is generated for a month or more, several line items are incorrectly calculating the COGS causing a negative Gross Sales amount. There is also a discrepancy in the Amount Collected on the Sales Report under Sales and Tender Types.

Combined Reporting
On Clover.com, in the Sales Activity > Transactions section, Payments, Voids, Manual Refunds, Refunds and Authorizations are all broken up into seperate sections. For reconciliation purposes, my merchant is manually exporting Payments, then Refunds, then Voids and stitching those three exports together. Hoping that these broken up sections will all be better integrated into a single section in the future. This is also a gap between Payeezy and Clover. Payeezy put all the various transaction types into a single screen, and exportable report.

Surcharge clarity
Would love it if when our batch printed at the end of the day, we were able to see the days total sales separate of the surcharges. Maybe list them both separately?
2 votesThank you for your feedback, this idea is currently under review. It should be possible to publish the surcharge total for a given closeout batch. We will want to avoid creating confusion in our batch report by publishing too many details.

print cash drop amount
You should be able to print the amount removed from the cash drawer for a deposit in the Cash Log App. Merchants want to print the amount removed from cash drawer to submit with the cash so the store employee doesn't need to write down the amount of the cash taken from the drawer which could lead to errors.

Add Customer Details back to Item Sales Report
In prior versions, you could see which customers had purchased specific items in the Item Sales report. For example, if there is a class that was purchased, and the instructor is ill, it would be really helpful to be able to look up who had purchased the class so the attendees could be notified. I cannot imagine why this feature was removed. Please add it back!
