Welcome to the feedback forum for Clover Devices and Hardware. Please share your ideas for how we can update our hardware to improve merchant and customer experiences at the point of sale. We are listening and we use this feedback to prioritize our roadmap.

  1. The new interface on our flex 2 is nice and clean. But, with the new interface clients often push "done" and we have to go back through the menus to print our receipt.
    The "done" button is too inviting. Would like "done" to not be highlighted and instead say "return to clerk" or something similar with highlighting. The done or print buttons should stay available.
    Receipts are easy to retrieve but still additional work.

  2. Would be good to have Inventory Migration via Multi Dashboard.
    Sometimes exporting & importing the inventory file can take hours of work if there are duplicate items which cannot be imported. I have spend 10-15 hours on large inventory files exported from clover to try to get them to import into clover.
    Seems like you should be able to migrate the inventory file if the 2 accounts are connected. Or have a tierII backend process for this.

  3. Many customers are complaining that their items that are scanned should be listed to the left of the customer facing Clover Duo Mini screen and their Total should show on the Right of the screen.

    Currently the items are on the right and the total is on left and our customers are complaining because it confuses them with the total and tax at the bottom right then a different total about to the left.

  4. I have a incident where a station 2018 display, in red text, requests to enter factory reset PIN above the keypad. Why does this happen?

  6. Situation: Owner has multiple EINs and needs a POS for transactions. For example, a POS is needed for an LLC and a non-profit by the same owner.

    Problem: With Clover devices, it is not possible to switch from one EIN to another on a device. Owner much purchase new devices for each EIN. Needless to say, this can become very costly or cost prohibitive if several devices are needed.

    Proposed Solution: Allow for multiple logins on devices and secure the devices by only accepting registered EINs

  8. Please explain to clover support that just because they don't see a power supply listed as equipment, if the power supply fails on new equipment let them send out a new power supply or starter kit.

    just had a solo and it's power supply fail. They sent a new solo but not power supply. Their response was they don't see power supply listed as equipment they can swap out. This is like who's on first..

  9. Customer payment receipts on the Flex 3 are way too long. Would like to see the option to have them shorter so we are not using so much paper

  10. Customers have figured out that they can back out of a card transaction and select cash so are stealing product when they hand back the device and server believes the order is paid. Therefore, we'd like to be able to disable tender types (specifically cash) from the device.

  11. There should be an option to select default keypad view on the search bar of the Register App. The default now is to show the large keyboard when search bar is selected. There should be an option to show only number keyboard so items can be searched with numbers only (e.g. PLU, or UPC).

  12. As owners of the account, we do not want our employees to have access to certain unnecessary apps, such as the calculator, camera, clock, gallery and sound recorder. We have over 70 merchants, with many of them using the Clover Flex devices. With the previous v3 Flex devices, we has the ability to disable these apps. Two weeks ago, in fact, we were could disable the apps from a new device we distributed to a merchant. However, yesterday, we were not able to do so. I called Clover customer service and they were also not able to disable the apps.…

  13. I process transactions on a desktop computer and after processing have to go to transactions, search for transactions and print receipt. Would like reciept to be printed automatically on my Lexmark MX511de printer the way FirstData allowed.

  14. Need better way to secure higher level access roles at the device. Four and six digit pin have been easily discovered. For those roles can we make the primary to facial recognition and the PIN only if facial has issues via 2FA to email for that role?

  16. this would apply to all service companies, like plumbers, electricians and many more. It would be nice to have a service section that is not taxed and you could do a labor rate (hourly) or other time frame and when a user adds it to the invoice you could do it in increments i.e. 1.25 hrs , 2.1 hrs. This is something that I can do on quickbooks. I do like how your app works and I hope to see this in the near future. it would make my invoicing cleaner and less confusing for my customers. Thanks in advance…

  17. The employee cards need to work on the Clover Duo. Since there is no more fingerprint on the Clover Duo, there is going to be security issue where other employees can steal the manger passcode by standing behind the manager.

  18. When the internet goes down at a merchants location that has several Clover stations, it would be great if the stations could communicate with each other over their LAN connection. When my bars lose internet the customers can only order drinks at the same exact Clover station where they opened their tab. And they can only close out at that same station as well. I have a bar that has 10 Clover station solos and the customers order from different spots all the time.

    Or I have a restaurant where the server drops off the ticket at the table and…
