Changing Payment Dates
I think we should be able to change the date customers get charged. I run a wine club and sometimes my dates change for when I need to charge a customer. The only solution the customer service gave me was to end each individual persons subscription and then add them with the new date. Also if that is going to be the solution we should be able to have a way to do a mass add or delete to them.

A couple suggestions that would help coming from your competition
We recently switched from Payjunction to Clover. I have to say that other than your customer service Payjunction has much more to offer clients. A couple things that I would like to suggest to help customers who store clients credit cards in the virtual terminal are:
1) Allow clients to store multiple credit cards on file.
2) When we are searching client credit cards... show a list of recent transactions. I am happy to assist if you have any further questions.3 votesHello,

Recurring Payment Failure
Occasionally a customers recurring payment will fail for various reasons, ISF, expired card, etc.
I originally set up Clover to automatically email receipts when payments were processed.
I have had an issue with Clover sending receipts that make it appear as though a payment was processed successfully when it actually failed to process. This is an issue, a BIG ISSUE.
I haven't been able to turn off AUTOMATIC RECEIPTS, except to change each customer, individually.
CLOVER IS SO MUCH MORE DIFFICULT THAN PAYEEZY. I'm not sure that CLOVER is a good option for our business.2 votes -
Pausing payments
I need instead of a delete button a pause button where I can pause a payment in a recurring plan but then able to hit resume when I want. This is crucial!!

Healthcare Plan Payments - Send Invoice via SMS
Most customers prefer to get communications and invoices sent via SMS. We would like Clover Dashboard - Virtual Terminal to send invoices to patients via SMS. Patients should be able to view the SMS, click on the payment link on the message and make the payment. This should trigger an email to the business notifying that payment has been made.

Reoccurring Pay - Billing Frequencies
The merchant has clients that bill at different time periods and which requires the creation of multiple payment plans, the client suggested a single QR functionality that would notify the merchant of upcoming payments

In an effort to better understand your merchant's request/pain-point, can you please clarify how they intend to utilize the QR code for this? Would it be allowing the user to hit a hosted checkout page with a variable amount? If so, that's available today.

Recurring Payments CATEGORY & COGS
This is KEY for any business using recurring payments. These should be able to be 'categorized' and added an 'item cost', just like normal inventory. When we run reports, we want to be able to see the Gross Profit from Recurring Payments., just like we would with selling any other item.

Clover Dashboard for recurring memberships. It won't let you simply update the amount to a recurring contract/plan. You have to delete it entirely and re-setup. It would be nice if you could just update their recurring dollar amount and simply hit save.

Customers setting up recurring payments
I am able to send customers a link or a QR code to make a payment and/or donations but there is no options for them to set up a recurring payment and/or donation
As a admin I able to do so but I would it be efficient and easier if a customer was able to set up a recurring payment on their own, make edits and cancel recurring payments

Pause Individual Card
Currently you can "pause" an entire plan, but not an individuals card. We should be able to "pause" an individuals card within a plan instead of having to delete it and then re-enter it. A "resume" date feature would be great with this also.

Frequency & customization of email notifications for Recurring Payments
It would be great if the emails that are sent out for Reccuring Payments could be customized as well as choosing what is actually sent out. It currently sends out 4 emails in total: credit card added to customer profile, recurring payment amount, payment scheduled date and an email once the transaction was completed. This is too much and overwhelms customers. It would also be great to customize the email that is sent out - we would like to remove the French portion to shorten the length of the email as well as add our own details.

Former First Data user here. Can you charge the reoccurring early mornings and not sporadic at multiple times during the day? Would love for it to happen around 2-4am that way its already done when the business opens. Currently they start at 8-9am and end 9pm

Customer Tagging
Recurring Payments should allow for customer tagging with a user defined identifier that would display both on the invoice ledger and transaction ledger. In addition it should be a sortable column. Also the Customer Name should also be a sortable column.

Bulk Changes
We were converted from PayEezy. There were a lot of functions in the recurring payments like bulk changes to set a new amount to the entire plans customers and sorting the columns, by name, Exp Date, Next run date, etc. Some of our recurring payment plans have over 400 customers. We can't be expected to enter a change into each account as we have over 1300 transactions entered in our system.

Configurable Automatic Retries for Recurring Payments
Please allow the # of Automatic Retries on a failed Recurring Transaction to be configurable and not automatically try 5 times. Additionally, to be sure and not notify the recipient that their card failed each retry.

Healthcare Plan Payments - Request Payment Card
Most customers prefer to enter their credit card for recurring payments. As a business owner I should be able to setup a recurring payment plan for a patient and request the patient to enter the payment card. This way we are not manually entering the patient's card details. This feature is available in Loyalzoo Memberships app. This feature would be a great addition to Clover Dashboard
