Welcome to the feedback forum for Clover Reporting Functions. Please share your ideas for how we can update our Clover reporting software to help merchants run their business more effectively. Specifically, this forum should only include ideas surrounding built in reporting functions. We are listening and we use this feedback to prioritize our roadmap.


Here are quick descriptions of each category so that you can easily locate and post ideas in the correct place!


1. Reporting Functionality: Ideas here should explicitly focus on the practicality and usefulness of Clover’s reporting feature. Is it easy to customize filters? Is the frequency at which reports generated sufficient?

2. Reporting Tips, Taxes, and Service Charges: This category should distinctively include all feedback regarding Clover reports producing intelligence on tips, taxes, and service charges.

3. Employee Reporting: This category should distinctively include all feedback regarding Clover reports producing intelligence on employees.

  1. We need to be able to pull a report that shows CASH v. CARD sales and is broken down to the Inventory Line Item. We can see that this report is available in the web dashboard under "ORDERS" but it does not export to excel the Line Items data. Please implement this easy feature to make our accounting down to the line item easier! :)

  3. Is it possible to add a 'Sales Date' column. there is on the 'deposit date' column when reporting deposits.

  4. For unique identifier we are not able to match back to report in Virtual Terminal as the "note" or "description" field remains blank - does not pull in the key field of info that we need to make our process more efficient and less manual.

  6. Is there a short summary report that they can print out after they are done counting that shows if they are short or over? In our old POS, my employees attached such a report to their end-of-shift deposit envelopes twice a day.

  7. We would like to see the exported Transactions report include a column for Funded Date. We used to rely on Clientline for a weekly batch report that included every transaction from the batch, the date it was funded (not submitted for processing), last four of card, and cardholder name to reconcile with Quickbooks but Clientline is impossible to navigate after updates

  8. Unit price should print on receipts even when the item is set as having a "variable price". Currently only items with a fixed price will print the unit price on the receipt. Customers don't care what our settings are... they want to see a unit price no matter how we have our pricing set in the software. This is common sense!

  9. Tip adjusted transactions show in reporting as partially paid. This causes the printed employee report to exclude the service charges (gratuities) from those transactions.

  10. We just started using Clover and we noticed that the Gross and Net totals aren't actually complete totals. You have to check your cash/CC/other totals and add those numbers. We've spoken with other vendors and they have told us they have to do similar workarounds to get proper totals for the day's sales. This should be fixed ASAP. If we can't trust the Gross and Net totals displayed at the top of the Sales Report on the web dashboard, why are they there?

  11. Time by time the export in Excel format has same records with EDT and other lines with EST.
    Seems a bug of the system.

    Anyway add EDT or EST in the same column of the Date/Hour do not allow to use that column with the Excel functions.
    Should be better that EDT/EST was in a separate column.

  12. Please add the totals from the day's surcharging through Fiserv to the Clover Closeout report, it currently doesn't display there and is the best report for EOD reporting for small businesses.

  13. I need to be able to run a "tender types" report by date for a custom date range. Exactly the same functionality as the sales report, which allows for DAILY SUMMARY or TOTAL toggle, but in the tender type it only allows for the summary.

  14. Include batch $ total on the Orders menu. Going to Closeout to obtain this information is an additional step that is time consuming. For me, it takes several minutes to load the Closeout menu.

    Previous software version included daily batch $ with the specific order amounts ... please bring that back!!!!

  15. Would like to see customer name, transaction amount, Reference or invoice number and last 4 of card number listed on the transaction summary report. Similar to what I had with payeezy/First Data. It was a streamlined summary of activity for a given day that was very useful.

  16. Daily sales report that at the end of the day is generated and automatically send an email on file with summary information, including Gross Sales, Net Sales, Tax, Credit Card and cash (amount collected) So far, the only option is closeout report but it does not have the whole picture of the company daily sales activity.

  17. Closeout App: when the batch report is printed on the device, it does not include the date & merchants must write this down manually on the printed report. Please print the date.

  18. My organization is currently using 2 Clover Flex and will be purchaing 24 more devices. I have created 27 categories for the menus at our 10 service locations. Currently the ITEMS sold by CATEGORY report lists all items sold in each category on every device in use. I have multiple devices selling from the same category. We would like to be able to print ITEMS sold by CATEGORY by THIS DEVICE, directly from the Clover Flex. This will save time and paper and not require me to grant employee access to the Clover Dashboard online.

  20. I export Transaction Excel Report and having the phone number and email included in Transaction report would be easier than opening detail, looking at receipt and copy/paste into the excel report. Especially since working with over 500 orders.
