Welcome to the Clover Services Forum. You're here because you are a Clover Services merchant and would like to submit ideas that you feel would enhance/improve Clover's current offerings in the Services space.

Appointments: Ideas related to Clover’s Appointment software.

Employees: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clovers employee management software. This includes permissions, viewing and editing employee roles, employee satisfaction, scheduling, owner access and more. If you have tipping suggestions, please include these ideas in the Tipping category of the Taking Payments forum.

Engagement: Share your thoughts on Clover’s built-in software that allows businesses to manage customers including viewing/storing customer information.

Clover GO: Clover GO is a mobile POS system designed for businesses that need to accept payments on the go.

  1. When using the invoice feature, you can enter the order/invoice number for the payment. However, this information is not available when looking at the transaction in the payment details section like it does when you process the payment yourself in the virtual terminal. Please make the order/invoice number available in the payment details section when the payment is made with the invoice feature.

  3. Why is there no direct link to the developer page within the main dashboard of your account. It makes absolutely no sense to have to make yet another login to get into the developers area. This way anything you develop is linked back to your account.

  5. The ability to edit the price when going into Register and selecting the item. Have a toggle switch for edit pricing under Price Per Copy with no quantity limits.
    Variable pricing does not work
    because it limits the quantity count.

    Our old POS had a check box for adjusted pricing. Whenever we pull up that product, let's say a color copy at $.039, we could click on the price and change the cost immediately when creating an order. All of this without going back into Inventory and changing the price. It's a price change just for that particular order then…

  6. First, let's start off saying that I love the clover system. Very user friendly!!
    When doing inventory is it very organized in a-z order but when working the inventory in letter beginning in f after editing it sends you back to the top start. If it could hold the inventory where you left off would be very helpful especially when clearing out old inventory. In reporting, items sales breaking down the categories for sales report it used to hold the category you have selected for the next day now it clears, and you have to select the category items from…

  7. We do not use the full inventory system, but we do enter a category (one of 10) for every transaction by using the "Register" app. We have removed all permissions for the "Sales" app. However, there is not reporting option that provides us with transaction totals by "category". We need this option.

    Daily batch reports do not total by category nor is there any report that filters by category. Tech support has told me there is no such option.

  8. There needs to be a way for the us to access invoices via the POS and mark paid when the customer comes in to pick up the order. Which would allow us to mark the orders paid without deleting the order and having to input everything again at the register. We also need to be able to itemize the invoice for our customer. I know that you can from Square and QuickBooks.

  9. Please allow the remaining balance on a gift card to automatically print on the payment receipt. It slows down a business when they need to go to the gift card app to see the balance

  10. Not sure if this is the case for users that export data to Quickbooks through the Clover app, but as a user that introduces deposits manually in QB it would be very helpful to click on tender type and see how many retail items were sold during a specific time period that were cash transactions and that were credit card transactions. Also the daily batches should have a breakdown of retail items sold and the surcharge amount.

  12. When adding a customized item or tax- allow the total amount to show on the reporting so that the totals match up. the transactions are not matching with the batch totals. Having a more detailed reporting system will help with itemized, detailed individualized line items showing the exact amount including taxes and additional fees

  13. I am unable to see the value of all quarterly recurring accounts. It just shows the number of accounts. Migrating from a previous merchant account where this feature was active. Certainly would help to see the total amount that will be charged to the various accounts as opposed to just the number of accounts.

  14. Allow resellers or admin users to make changes to the device name that shows up on the reporting. Currently only the owner is able to make this change.

  17. I would like to request the option to have multiple Owner accounts on a single business profile. In many cases, a business has more than one owner. Sometimes the primary Owner account holder may be unavailable (for example, in a different country) but still needs to retain full access. Meanwhile, another owner who is actively managing the business in the U.S. needs the ability to make Owner-level changes.

    Currently, certain tasks—such as setting up promotions—require Owner access. These are often routine or minor updates that the primary Owner may delegate to a co-owner or managing partner. Allowing multiple Owner accounts…

  18. Our company is PCI compliant based on the parameters we put in place. That being said, we only issue invoices to customers so the customers can pay via links. I would like there to be a way in the permissions (virtual terminal) to allow employees only to issue invoices, but not process a credit card. This would ensure we are PCI compliant on all fronts.

  20. Hello-

    I have multiple Merchants requesting this feature. Every single order needs a customer name and they are wanting the "Add Note" option to be a forced prompt. We are trying to avoid extra clicks on the screen. Right now having to Click the 3 dots ("...), then selecting Add Note adds small incremental delays to orders.

    Please let me know when/if this can be implemented, I'd be happy to elaborate further.
