  2. Some merchants want to switch processing companies but would lose access to the reporting data in one account. For instance, they are able to easily compare sales between today and this day last year. If they were to switch merchant processing companies, they would lose that privilege and would have to manually log back in into their old account for comparison. A way to export and import this data between different MIDs would be greatly beneficial.

  3. Not asking for verification on a duplicate transaction that happened days/weeks previously.

    We are finding with the new update our flex is now asking at random times to verify that this duplicate transaction is okay. The thing is, it’s the first time a customer is paying today. It’s confusing for staff and customers who assume they will be charged twice.

    I understand the need for verification of the transactions are on the same day/similar timing. But if I have people that only come once a month, I don’t need to be selecting one of these options.

  4. this is regarding the DIPLICATE PAYMENT: AUTHENTIFICATION REQUIRED screen that pops up after most of our payments.

    we are a cafe, doing many of our payments at approximately the same price, in a very short time frame. this screen pops up after 9/10 transactions, and really slows down the work process and customers get confused. this is a deal breaker for us and will force us to chose another system if it cant be corrected.

    is there any way to eliminate this? or make it an optional screen?

  5. There needs to be a way to do an exchange of merchandise for items rather than those that are the same price as the items being returned. Currently if a customer wants to exchange an item they are only able to exchange that item for something of the same value. They should be allowed to exchange an item for anything in your inventory. Example: if a customer is bringing back an item for $50 and wants to exchange if for a $25 item and a $10 Item right now it does not give you that option. It only allows you…

  6. I want to be able to send a customer an email invoice from the dashboard and have them see that they can tip if they want to. I do mostly remote work and get paid via credit card when the work is complete. Square has this ability to add it to the invoice. It'd help remote customers make some more money. Thank you.

  7. If an item is not entered into the system and an employee is trying to ring it out, it does not give an alert. It still has the same scanning ring. In VERY small font it says "you do not have the permission to enter this" or something to that effect. It would be nice to have a different "error" sound for things that were scanned, but not actually " rung up". Or have LARGE font that the item wasn't rung up.

  10. Having to wait to invoice a customer until I'm at a desktop is not only inconvenient but completely redundant to why I purchased the Clover Go in the first place. This is not mobility and is not simple. Fully regretting leaving square. .03% is not enough of a savings to make this inconvenience "worth it".

  11. A small business owner requested that the Font Size be able to be modified. When asked why, I was informed that in the evening the restaurant turns the lights lower. This makes being able to read the text harder. It would be easier if it was scalable.

  12. Hi Clover team - this is Mark with Fiserv. The Clover Go G1 and G2 mobile apps should have a section to enter in address information. Especially when merchants are keying in transactions in the app, address verification is very important to avoid risks of disputes and chargebacks. Is this a feature that is coming?

  14. Merchant wants the Telecheck tender type to prompt for the customer signature on the customer-facing Mini. It currently prompts for the signature on the Merchant-facing device, with "Automatically take payment on connected device" selected.

  16. I know there is custom item to put in whatever price onto the custom item, and you can put in text in the modifier. But the Custom Item can not be sent to the kitchen printer, so this is useless...

    Something like this will be very nice.

    A completely blank button for the merchants to put in whatever NAME, MODIFIER and PRICE on their own. And this needs to be able to fire to the kitchen printer.

  17. Please improve the battery back-up for the Clover Mini to allow completion of existing orders when there is a power failure. We had a full house when the power went out and the Mini went dark. We were able to use the Handheld device to reenter and complete processing all the orders. When the Mini came back on-line, we had to go in and cancel the original orders.

  18. there should be an option for customers to be selected for a transaction so the merchant can keep track of orders. instead of putting this information in the note sections

  19. Business Type: Butcher Shop

    The merchant has scales setup through out the location along with a Brother-label printer. The scales are not connected directly to the clover devices (Scale: Digi SM 5100)

    The merchant would like to be able to weigh an item, walk to any Clover Station at the location, scan the item (Scanner: Zebra DS 2208) the display would show the item name as well as the price according to weight. I advised the Business Consultant, the clover inventory application requires the item to exist within the inventory database in order to show the name, once recognized as…

  20. When two clover minis are tethered together, they work great by showing the customer the welcome screen and the employee enters the transaction on his/her end. When it's a debit/credit transaction, all is well, and it displays perfectly on customers facing terminal, but when the transaction is EBT, it will only allow the card to be swiped on the employee's terminal. I have looked at the settings, and spoke with customer service, and it seems there needs to be an update for this. Thank you.
