Employee Summary by Revenue Class report needs to be available on the terminals, not just Dashboard..
I need a report available on the terminals (that employees have access to) that breaks down sales by revenue class. I have a bar/restaurant and tip out is done based off of sales (liquor/food).

If comparing to the Employees Report within the Web Dashboard, which shows Employee Sales Summary and Employee Summary by Revenue Class, would this information suffice, or are there additional details/classes that would be helpful for this on-device report?
Also, does the Reporting App on the device help with this request, or is that also missing pertinent information that your staff would like to see?

My issue is I need a report for my employees end of shift report to print out the number of transactions they had for their shift. This was available before Wed April 24, 2024. The report had the subtotal of all cards (not detailed cards though) and then the tips separately, so the employees had to add these numbers together to get their total of their cards and tips.
Since the update April 24, 2024, they add together the amounts now, but do not give the number of transactions made so they can count up their physical copies.
You fix one issue and abandon another ????Also my other main issue is they report for these employees should do a breakdown of Debit, Visa, Mastercard & American Express cards currently used as a form of payment so that staff can match up these batches properly.
They tell me "It's on your Management Dashboard" .... yah MANAGEMENT ONLY!!!! Can we do this???I do not want my staff going onto my Management Dashboard to check this??
I don't get it! Moneris used to do that breakdown for each employee now for years. They understand. Ask any RESTAURANT OWNER !!!!!
I feel your company is not listening to restaurant owners in the needs of proper reports for actual employees to balance at the end of their shift.
No employee should have access to the Dashboard on a daily basis.

Yes we need this. I experienced this same issue at a BIG resturant bar that I installed and placed 14 stations in Miami.. THey need this as welll I’m surprised clover doesn’t have this. We need to be able to see how much of a certain product class that employee sold at the reporting screeen that that employee prints out for themselves. Each employee should have access to printing out their own report that shows how many bottles was sold in total revenue , how much in bar items sold total revenue and how much food sold in total revenue separately..

If the shift report could reflect sales by revenue class/label/category that would be incredibly helpful for restaurants and bars that operate on a tip-out system. It is incredibly common for servers to have to tip out their bartenders based on their alcohol sales. The shift report already breaks down payments by cards, cash, card tips, and cash tips if employees choose to log it. If that report could also show sales by revenue class/category/labels, that would alleviate a lot of headaches when it comes to end-of-day reporting and tip outs. Please, this appears to be requested by many merchants, as well as ISOs who know that competing systems already have this feature available. Thank you.

It's critical to have this report available for all employees on the terminal. I'm having to stay until everyone is done so I'm able to calculate tip outs and still don't have the information to allocate tip outs food/liquor accurately . My other option is to allow all employees access to my clover dashboard. It's ridiculous!!!!

The SHIFT clock in and clock out (holding cash sales) is a good chit at end of the shift. But that isnt good for restaurants that does tons of tip out to bar, sushi, togo, bussers.

Not just Dashboard access only.

This is a major need for restaurant / bar owners. I'm having a very difficult time finding the proper report for the individual servers which includes - Revenue Class labels for tip outs, cash sales, debit & credit sales, transaction count, and tips BY EMPLOYEE CODE. I'm not up at 3 am to run the reports from the dashboard for them. Each of our servers should be able to access this read with their our log in code and print off the chit so they can settle their night with our required paperwork.

The employee shift report should deduct tips from the cash sales and show the total in cash drawer at the end of their shift. Right now the employee has to subtract it and a big potential for error. Especially at 330AM.

We also need this; we want to find out the # of trans by employee, gross sales by employee, tender type totals by employee, and discount usage by employee. Running a report for each employee instead of having one report that shows all of them is taking a huge amount of time and reduces Clover's usefulness for us.

At the end of a cashiers shift, we have them take all their cash out of the drawer (including their starting float). The new cashier will bring up a new float, and the previous cashier will take everything, count their money and compare it to the cash owed to house report from our POS. Unfortunately, Clover does not provide this functionality, so we don't know how to possibly get the cash owed to house by an employee now without doing it manually.
At the end of a shift, an employee should be able to print a report of all the cash sales they collected minus/plus any payouts/payins. This report should be tied to an employee. Currently, the report like this can only be printed from the sales overview, and includes all cash sales aggregated. It does not show what the second shift owes to house, that employee would have to calculate it based on what the previous cashier ended with. Its annoying and a simple calculation you could easily implement. Please do so, its not a complicated feature and I'm surprised this only has 14 votes.

It is great that we can pull Employee Sales by Revenue Class on the Web Dashboard. But we must have this ability on the actual Clover Devices, and this data needs to be on the printable Shift Reports in the Shifts app and Homebase. Restaurants who use Tip Sharing or Tip pooling rely on this data, and too many of our competitors already offer this.

On the Cash Report as a manager I would like to see a tab for the breakdown of cash and credit card sales on the cash report for each employee. I don’t want to login to see this break down it should be available to view on the terminal.

Include Reporting by Employee from the Reporting app on Clover devices. Currently you are only able to view a total label reporting summary from the Reporting app on the Clover device. To view the Reporting by Employee, you have to log into the Web Dashboard. Please make this available on device. This will help with Employee/Server End of Shift reports when calculating how much to tip the kitchen, bar, etc. based on food sales, alcohol sales, etc.
