Its a simple fix, you have a table in your database that stores tax rules, you can add an option called "tax-inclusive" or "tax-exclusive" to each rate. Once the rates rule is set, you apply that rule to all price fields in inventory. Your reporting should account for this, and hitting remove tax on items should account for this. Too bad, other than that I like Clover. The loyalty could use a little work and being able to have employees close out their own shifts would be great. Actually yeah employees not being able to close out their own shifts is another reason I'm leaving.

Yes, PLEASE! Clover is the only POS I've used/tested that does not have Tax-inclusive option.

I'm confused as to how they sell their POS in Europe as they price things there with tax included. If its a different software, the logic is built in and it shouldn't be difficult to port it here. Please get yourselves together, core applications need work!

I don't want to carry coins at my business, but without a tax-inclusive option there will always be rounding issues. For example an item priced at $9.18 calculates to $9.99 in Clover, when I actually want to sell it for $10. If I price the item at $9.19, tax added would make this final price to be $10.01. In both cases I have to carry coins for the customer.

Yes, a tax-inclusive option. I want to list my prices as $5.00 and have clover calculate how much of that is tax instead of having to list it as price - tax, this way I can have modifiers also as whole dollar and then taxes will never add up to pennys. This eliminates the need of coins at our business.

Yes, we need the flexibility to control our inventory better. A VOID means that the items did not go out of inventory, so this will be properly communicated with our inventory management system. If we just do a refund, but can't VOID the items, our inventory will assume these items have been consumed and so they will leave inventory even if that is not the case. There should be a clear and easy way to treat a transaction as either a VOID or a COMP.

VOID - item DOES NOT leave inventory
    COMP - item leaves inventory
Refund - money is returned (this has nothing to do with inventory like a void or a comp, this only has to do with the monetary part of the transaction)

    Hello,

If comparing to the Employees Report within the Web Dashboard, which shows Employee Sales Summary and Employee Summary by Revenue Class, would this information suffice, or are there additional details/classes that would be helpful for this on-device report?

Also, does the Reporting App on the device help with this request, or is that also missing pertinent information that your staff would like to see?

    Thanks,

    Clover Product

yes this would be great. In general only one discount should be allowed at a time, or the merchant should be able to select that as an option. We don't allow multiple discounts ever in our store, the customer has to choose which they want to use.

literally nothing has more votes than this request... implement it. 3 years later and people are still requesting it, at least provide some feedback so that we can feel like we're actually heard.

Are there any moderators here? Can you let us know if this is being worked on, it has 130 votes! Its absolutely necessary, I'm about to return my Clover station...

On top of that, the bulk import instructions say that nested/tiered categories are a thing. Update that cause you're lying. I thought at first that someone jumped the gun and posted a sneak peak, but that instruction has been there at least since November 2018 since @Aaron mentioned it below.

Yes please, I don't see why this functionality is left out. What if we want to close out to a tender type other than cash, check or card? The option is provided in the dashboard to create payment options, so they should be accessible via the Clover Go App.

This should be pretty simple to implement. I would like to have a link on my website where a customer can either purchase a physical card (where the card is then mailed to the provided mailing address) or a digital gift card (where it is emailed to the provided address). In addition, this same link can provide a "Check Balance" screen. This should be a basic feature with any gift card service, I'm surprised Clover does not have this.
