Do Not Allow Transactions to be Processed without Credential Being Clocked In in Shifts App
As a restaurant operator I find it absolutely horrifying and an immense oversight that my employees can process transactions under their own credentials without being clocked in. As a result, these transactions do not appear on the shifts report, but do appear in both the transactions and reporting apps. We hold our credit card tips, as such the employees rely on the shifts report in order to determine how much card tip they are owed and how much cash they must turn in to the house (their total cash sales).

Employee Filter as Search
Please make the Employee filter in reporting searchable. Merchants (Taxis) may have 600 employees to drop down through...needs to be a searchable field.

Employee's Reporting Permissions Limited to Specific Category
Merchant would like to be able to narrow down an employee's reporting access to a specific inventory category or order type, rather than an all or nothing for Reporting. For example, they have an employee who manages their events. They would like that employee to have access to sales reporting ONLY for the Events category, not ALL sales reporting. Otherwise, all sales reporting access must be disabled and another member of management has to pull and edit the reporting before sending to the events manager.

Make the Clock-In Prompt Undismissable
Please make it so employees cannot get passed the lock-screen without clocking in by making the clock-in prompt undismissable. Meaning, when you hit cancel instead of clock-in, you are brought back to the lock screen. This will prevent employees from accidentally processing transactions without being clocked in.

Ability to manage Employees at the Multi-Location level
We have multiple locations, but utilize the same employees at those locations. We need the ability to enter an employee once at the Multi-Location level and have the ability to select which location they need to be authorized for. Right now we have to enter the same employee at each location, which is time consuming and the margin for error is greater in not getting Access Code, Role etc the same in each place.

option to assign tips to different employees
Our business is a grooming salon and our receptionist cashes payments. Therefore the name of the receptionist is on the receipt, but not the groomer who the tip belongs too. There should be a way to assign a service provider to a ticket to account for tips and commission! This seems like a basic feature that any service business needs.

Cash Drawer Permission: If there's an order of $0.00, create a permissions for employees not being able to take it. Some merchants complain because there are cases where the employee adds a discount and leaves it on $0.00 and they cannot control the cash drawer movements with that.

Remove Taxes only by Manager
We do have Non-Profits that purchase from us and are Tax Exempt, I would like to have the ability to remove the sales tax to be restricted to Manager's only so that any random employee can't remove taxes from any order (which we are still on the hook for!!)

Ability to update employee name
Please allow edit employee to change the employee name. Best example is employee gets married. Deleting employee and entering again with new name is not a very good way of doing this.

Manual Card Entry
Merchant do not want any of her employees to have permission to process manual card entries and would like to have the feature remove from all flex 2nd gen devices

Merchant requesting to remove the today's total screen from the employee's screen
merchant employee's are able to see the day's total sale amount after logging out of the admin account
merchant is stating that the device didn't previously show the total sale amount on the employee screen/ merchant has the permissions removed from the employee's permission but they are still able to see the closeout on the screen it comes and it goes after logging out of the admins account

Two-Factor Authentication is NOT user friendly at all!
It should be our choice if we want to use it and should be able to turn it off or on ourselves. Not user friendly - staff should not need to use their personal phones to get access codes, especially as we ask our staff to keep their phones in their lockers. Getting a landline call to get a code is time consuming and NOT user friendly because if you miss that window of getting the code in, you need to start all over again. Two-Factor Authentication should be a system wide configuration setting
Two-Factor Authentication should be an optional system wide configuration setting for all users associated with a merchant account. This will enable the Owner admin to enforce a secure login policy for all users.
Two-Factor Authentication is currently an optional configuration for each user profile. Therefore, a secure login policy via Two-Factor Authentication cannot be enforced as it requires that the individual user enable it for their profile. It also cannot be verified, as only the individual user has access to their profile.

Ability to Identify History on Changes; who and when
As a business owner, I have had issues with people accessing other employee codes and making changes that should not have been made regarding our inventory or even deleting orders. It is important to be able to identify changes being made and provide the history and analytics for those things that include information such as; was the change made online or on the clover register, what employee made it, time stamp, and identify the changes made and what it was prior. Permissions to be added to the roles
It would be nice if you can have the permissions attached to each role. Also, when you remove access for a role at the header level...it should remove it for all the underline items but it doesn't. You have to expand the view for each apps permission and check each line item off even though the header doesn't have the role listed.

Give other besides the owner access to multi-location dashboard to edit reward plans
Right now, the owner only has access to the multi-location dashboard and wants to give access to the multi-location dashboard to management without giving their conditionals to their employees. My suggestion is to make it so that others can access the multi-location dashboard and not just the owner.

Add Dispute Tab Permission for other users.
The new Dispute tab is great! we no longer need to go on business track directly to supply the evidence, instead we can do it straight on clover.
However please add it under permission so that we can give access to our dispute team to respond the the chargeback. Currently we had to give our full admin login to them in order to have access to that tab, you can imagine the issue having to give the full login to them without any restrictions to other reports and info on the dash.
