Welcome to the Clover Services Forum.  You're here because you are a Clover Services merchant and would like to submit ideas that you feel would enhance/improve Clover's current offerings in the Services space. 

In order to submit your idea you'll need to give it a Title then select the Category that best matches your idea.  Below are brief descriptions of the Clover Retail Categories.

Appointments: Ideas related to Clover’s Appointment software.

Employees: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clovers employee management software. This includes permissions, viewing and editing employee roles, employee satisfaction, scheduling, owner access and more. If you have tipping suggestions, please include these ideas in the Tipping category of the Taking Payments forum.

Engagement: Share your thoughts on Clover’s built-in software that allows businesses to manage customers including viewing/storing customer information.

Hardware: Ideas related to Clover hardware in the Restaurant space

Inventory: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clover’s inventory management software.

Invoice: Ideas related to Clover’s Invoicing feature.

Orders: Ideas relating to the process of creating and managing Orders.

  1. Enhancement to "Create a branded website" tab/process.
    Services Growth Tier has ability to take payment/deposit online. First time merchant (who is used to card present instore) may not be familiar aware of option to take payment online as part of appointment process. That option for setup is under the primary view settings -> Services and Appointments section for Appointment Booking. I think there would be a benefit to have reference and link to the Appointment Booking section from the Create Branded Website page. I think having reference to Fraud Filters/Fraud Setup there would be beneficial as well.

Since the update, whenever we scan a single item on our dashboard, it jumps around to a bunch of different items in inventory and brings up a random list of them, and we have to look through to find the one that we scanned. We've spent hours on the phone, updated everything we can hardware and software wise, and even bought a new scanner. This only started after the update, it is definitely a Clover malfunction.

  3. The Sales amount on the Closeout report does not represent the sales but is the total of transactions processed through the card processor. Please change to Sales amount.

  4. Sample Real Life Case: Merchant only has the Clover Go app on mobile to process payments. Merchant is currently using inventory through the Clover Go app on mobile. Merchant purchases a Clover Compact, which is provisioned to the Clover account. All but the Payments SaaS plan are removed leaving the merchant unable to use the inventory features. Please fix!

  5. Restore lost functionality to inventory screens.
    The columns in categories does not hold changes made top which columns are displayed, even if you click "save"
    Next time your in the screen they have reverted back to default.
    Why even have a "In Stock" column when what you need is "stock Count"
    I waist too much time changing these back to what I need, every time go go into the category inventory screens.
    The columns used to stay put until the most resent update when a lot functionality went away, including being able to scan a UPC or enter an items…

  6. Multiple shifts per day:

    We have 2 services ( brunch and dinner) per day with 2 different teams, therefore we need a closeout report ( sales and tips) per shift - not per day

    We also need different menus per shift.

  8. For those of us using Clover who work out of our homes, why can't we use a PO Box on receipts and invoices? You potentially put single women at risk by showing a home address as opposed to what we want to use for billing. I understanding needing a physical address for internal use, but I don't use it for customer interfacing or billing my clients.

  10. upgrade your invoice creating system please.It should have tax entering optio in %,discount option in % and then auto calculation and give total amount to be paid.We dont expect Clover to have such a basic invoice system where many other free invoice generator companies have better options.

  11. When doing a transaction report for a specific date, the beginning date and end date must each be selected, which is fine. When switching forward or backward one day, it takes 5 clicks to change the date. xxxx has a left and right arrow that can be clicked to move forward or backward one day. That would be a very helpful feature to have.

  12. When an invoice is paid, the owner of the account receives an email notifying them that the payment has been made. However, it would be nice if the owner could add a second person's email address (like the accountant).

  13. Hello,

    Can we get a Database that links Card numbers to phone numbers automatically like how xxxx does it. I am tired of having to enter the SAME customer's phone number in every time they purchase something. It is embarrassing that this system doesn't have the ability to remember things like this. Also it would be nice if another Clover user just entered the customers phone number and then they come to me, it would already be there to text them their receipt.

  14. Salon's as a professional service, collect deposits for the ability to charge in advance and credit the subtotal so that they are not any no shows. if the customer does not show up they charge the deposit

  15. When using the invoice feature, you can enter the order/invoice number for the payment. However, this information is not available when looking at the transaction in the payment details section like it does when you process the payment yourself in the virtual terminal. Please make the order/invoice number available in the payment details section when the payment is made with the invoice feature.

  16. I have a lot of clients in the service industry that use the Clover Invoice feature. However, one major frustration is that the recipients of these invoices cannot add a tip, and those in the service industry really rely on tips.

    I see in another ticket titled "Include a "tip" section in an online invoice sent via virtual terminal/email," that somebody from Clover said "this feature is now live," but it doesn't seem to be.

    Please add this option or please explain how to turn on this feature.

  18. It would be nice to have an extra charging base or two. This way you don't have to lug around the base and charging cable if you move to different parts of the building or a new location.

  19. I operate an IT business that also performs instore and onsite repairs. I would like to be able to present my customers with a custom form with a signature field at the customer facing terminal for when they drop off equipment or when they pick up equipment. My system is a Station Duo.

  20. Include alternative options for 2FA, like email when logging into the dashboard for the first time. International clients aren't able to receive SMS Text as international/country codes aren't listed on the drop down. Specifically need to add Palau 011680 as a option.
