Welcome to the Clover Services Forum. You're here because you are a Clover Services merchant and would like to submit ideas that you feel would enhance/improve Clover's current offerings in the Services space.

In order to submit your idea you'll need to give it a Title then select the Category that best matches your idea. Below are brief descriptions of the Clover Retail Categories.

Appointments: Ideas related to Clover’s Appointment software.

Employees: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clovers employee management software. This includes permissions, viewing and editing employee roles, employee satisfaction, scheduling, owner access and more. If you have tipping suggestions, please include these ideas in the Tipping category of the Taking Payments forum.

Engagement: Share your thoughts on Clover’s built-in software that allows businesses to manage customers including viewing/storing customer information.

Clover GO: Clover GO is a mobile POS system designed for businesses that need to accept payments on the go.

Hardware: Ideas related to Clover hardware in the Restaurant space

Inventory: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clover’s inventory management software.

  2. On the Hosted Checkout Invoice, can the words Your Order be replaced with the name of the specific Payment Link.

    Example: Your Order = Membership or Food Pantry, etc. (dependent on payment link used)

  3. Just like Google Play store or Apple Store allow us to be able to see apps that we previously had installed or date of installation.

    1. Product images are always in portrait mode online on other websites, yet Clover's pilot program is in landscape which results in a lot more work to re-format every single product image we have in order to upload. YET once this is done and it's uploaded as per the landscape view, it previews as portrait!!

    2. The banner logo heading is showing as completely compressed even though it's a high res image.

    3. The preview page is tiny - should open up in a new tab. Impossible to check your work.

    4. Can the 'special instructions' on the preview page be turned off?

  4. Is Recurring Appointment Booking on the product upgrade roadmap? A lot of Services Merchants have regular customers scheduled at weekly or monthly recurring appointments. This would be huge for Services Merchants!
    Once this is place, if someone has 12 Appointments scheduled, please only send 1 cancellation notice, not 12.

  5. In Salons each employee performs a different service, so tip splitting and Commission pay % per service is very important to have.
    This will help finalizing the transaction in one payment instead of separate transaction just to payout the tip to the correct employee whom performed the service.

  6. CLOVER NEEDS TO HAVE THE OPTION TO AUTOMATICALLY SEND A WAIVER TO THE CUSTOMER IF THEY SELECT A CERTAIN ITEM, LETTING THE CUSTOMER KNOW THE BUSINESS IS NOT RESPONSIBLE AND HAVE THE CUSTOMER ESIGN.

  7. WHEN SETTING UP APPOINTMENTS, IT SHOULD ALLOW YOU TO SELECT MULTIPLE CUSTOMERS WITHIN ONE TICKET, AND CREATE A DATABASE OF EACH CUSTOMER.

  8. Description: Option to Remove quantity feature on the published website page.

    Currently, when customer access the merchant's online ordering website. Click on an item. Select Breakfast, and then clicked 2 Eggs Breakfast w/ Meat. A popup box associated with 2 Egg Breakfast w/ Meat. Select, for example, Wheat. The Customer gets the option to add & subtract the item quantity.

    This merchant advised Wheat bread is added to the meal, not an individual purchased item. So they want an option to hide/remove the quantity feature for all menu items.

  9. As of now the order printer when removed from the printer settings keeps coming back everytime the DUO reboots or the next day after the device goes to sleep.
    Can we find a way to have the order printer removed completely and no having come back.

  12. 2-Factor Authentication

    Businesses need the option to bypass 2-factor authentication. We do NOT want our Clover accounts tied to any one individual at the business, as employment is bound to change somewhat over the years. We are already using shared, business email account for this service. But having one individual's cell phone number hold the keys to authentication is ineffective at best, and opens the door for financial issues in the worst-case scenario. Clover should create an option for 2-factor authentication through email, or business phone call.

  14. The call to edit feature should give the option to route us to the correct department for the feature on the dashboard that needs to edited.

  17. We have Clover Flex's setup for a local Credit Union with many branch offices that offer the Cash Advance service to customers that want to take out a cash advance on their credit card. They would like to restrict their employees from attempting cash advances over $5k without manager approval. Would like to have the Clover device set up so it will prompt for manager override on transactions over $5k. The $5k could be a customizable field like you have for Offline Transactions.

  18. On Clover Merchant Portal:
    - button to import .csv file to batch overwrite customer data
    - button to intelligently merge duplicate customer entries
    - button to delete customer entries that match batch criteria (e.g. "MANUALLY ENTERED")
    - button to automatically batch rewrite customer name fields with correct capitalization instead of all caps
    - intelligent backup system for customer database (at very least, revert to previous version upon .csv import - while keeping entries from new customers generated externally in the meantime)

  19. There should be the option of having payment links that display in French. This is a legal requirement in Quebec of any commercial page having French, otherwise it is illegal in this province.
