Welcome to the feedback forum for Clover Devices and Hardware. Please share your ideas for how we can update our hardware to improve merchant and customer experiences at the point of sale. We are listening and we use this feedback to prioritize our roadmap.

  1. I use the Clover Go with my Android device at Farmer's Markets and Craft Fairs. I do not print receipts (I'm a tree hugger LOL). It would be great to have the option to remove 'print receipt' from the choices shown to the customer after making their payment. I would like to keep email, text, or no receipt visible, and hide the print receipt option.

  2. Merchant would like to edit tips from clover device and not have to print paper receipts to take advantage of gateway tipping

  3. When a merchant has order types enabled (i.e. Dine-in, Delivery & Pick-up) the delivery option/CNP transactions should automatically print a receipt with tip line - when Dine-in and Pick-up are selected (CP Transactions) tipping on the Pin-Pad should be the primary tipping method.

    Working with a QRS Pizza delivery shop on a duo that wants in-person tipping on Pin-Pad and a printed receipt with tip line for delivery orders.

  4. Merchant and sales agents before were able to see the upcoming releases in the dashboard. They would like to have this option back as this will help them identify new training opportunity and new feature they have been expected to be added.

  5. Merchant is requesting a feature to be added on the clover devices. He understands that categories can be re-arranged on the dashboard but he would like to be able to re-arrange them on the clover device too.

  8. I would like to have a tabletop kiosk similar to Ziosk, we do not have wait staff in our restaurant because 1. it is hard to find employees and 2 we like to be contactless when possible. We are currently using QR codes on the tables, but the ordering website is a bit confusing for some. Having a kiosk to put on the tables would be great for our older customers, and and a great contactless way of ordering which is extremely important in this Covid world.

  10. I need to restrict the ability to close or finalize a cash transaction by employee. All cash transaction sale can be finalized by manager or other authorized employee

  13. The order receipts are extremely wasteful when using medium or large fonts. All order receipts have too much information, and information is repeated.

    When medium font size is selected, there are dotted lines and empty space between each item which causes the paper to be unnecessarily long.

    While the large font should not have to be used, it is our only option as the small font is too hard to see at a distance for our chefs, and the medium font wastes too much paper. Although the large font is not ideal, it still uses less paper than the medium…

  14. I need to export list of our items that includes the "category" attribute. When I export the inventory from the dashboard i am not seeing the category column.
    Why would the "category" attribute not be part of the items export?

  15. My restaurant has a Clover Station that primarily handles to-go orders and Clover Flex devices that handle dine-in orders. Currently my default Order Type is set to Dine-In, but this default applies to all my Clover devices. I want to have a different default Order Type on my Clover Station since this device mainly handles to-go (sometimes I forget to select To-Go and it defaults to Dine-In).

    I would like to have the option to set a default Order Type based on device. The account-level default Order Type should still exist, but if the device has a device-specific default Order…

  16. NY State has arcane sales tax rules. It would be nice if sales tax could be charged to taxable items and not to non-taxable items automatically, depending on which revenue class the item belonged to. All current workarounds are impractical.

  18. There should be an option in the settings to show the modifiers without showing the price of the modifiers on the receipts.

    I don't want my customers to see the prices of the modifiers but only the modifiers and the total cost of the product.

  19. We are a grocery store that also do wholesale business, so we need to making transactions on Clover dashboard for better navigation.
    Clover is not yet built to fit larger grocery business needs.
    Hope to see a better Clover to fit our business.

  20. Some merchants want to switch processing companies but would lose access to the reporting data in one account. For instance, they are able to easily compare sales between today and this day last year. If they were to switch merchant processing companies, they would lose that privilege and would have to manually log back in into their old account for comparison. A way to export and import this data between different MIDs would be greatly beneficial.
