Welcome to the feedback forum for Clover Devices and Hardware. Please share your ideas for how we can update our hardware to improve merchant and customer experiences at the point of sale. We are listening and we use this feedback to prioritize our roadmap.

  1. merchant requesting when a customers sees the option to enter their pin numbers to show numbers and letters as well some customers have their pin with letters instead of numbers .

    Client feels that it is unlikely receipt paper in kitchen would be 'erased' due to heat in kitchen for that short period of time. Thank you.

  3. There needs to be a Black version of the Clovers - especially the Station for restaurants where a white POS does not fit their ambiance

  4. Set a different ringer (and a strident one) when a transaction is declined: to alert the employee who is processing the transaction and avoid for that transaction to pass unnoticed. it has happened in my salon: the screens sequence did not make it clear that a transaction was refused, and no beep came on to make it conspicuous.We got defrauded without being alerted!

  6. I have the Clover Flex. We use this as our register. We also have staff using the App paired with the Go to make transactions. Post sale on the Go it asks to print, text or email a receipt. When I click print I receive an error message. I would like for the App to work with and print remotely to the Flex Station. When we have the Flex reprint these transactions they ARE NOT itemized, for reasons necessary to my business, this is a huge security problem. Please adjust the app to sync with the Flex printer.     The print function works with Airprint and google print enabled printers. It isn’t currently designed to work with the Clover printers.

  7. Clover Kitchen Display System (KDS) - Groups similar items together. However, for customers who are using CLOVER DINING SOFTWARE which costs more, the printer separates items by guest, irregardless of wether the items are identical. ALL WE ASK, is that the KDS be a reflection of the regular paper printer, where the orders are separated by guests. CUSTOMERS who order the KDS will more than likely, be the same customer that uses CLOVER DINING. Why would they not design the KDS to separate by CUSTOMER, when that's how Clover Dining Customers are used to operating. PLEASE HELP.

  8. "Skip And Print" Always USED to Print a Tip and Signature line, now it doesn't. We would like that to come back. Curb Side service is very trendy and our customers are asking for a tip line!

  9. Can we hardware an order printer. Some kitchen printer straight to the pos please. Make it not reliant on a network. Eliminating a potential problem from the eco system.

  10. After recent update, items printed on kitchen tickets are not separated with a line or spacing options, making the ticket harder to read when multiple items are ordered. A line between items would make reading easier, especially with modifiers.

  11. Merchant would like the ability to change the order type default at the device/station level. Merchant uses dedicated devices for dine in and take out/delivery service and it saves them time if the default on that device is set for the type of order that is typically received on that station.

  12. Would like the functionally for Clover Go version 2.5.3 for customer orders opened using the Clover Station under the Customers app to add order, and when paid using Clover Go, to reflect on the customers app as an order for that customer

    There is development ongoing for Clover Go to utilize the Customers app as do the other Clover Devices.

    Clover will be adding a sound to our Kitchen Display System as we are seeing this request often.  We do not have the ability to alter the Kitchen printers mad by other manufacturers.  If you are interested in a Kitchen Display System (KDS). Please reach out to your Clover representative or reseller.

  14. I need a printer that can print in both languages on the same kitchen ticket. This requirement of a dual language ticket is needed because of the racial composition of staff in my international kitchen. I have both Chinese speaking and English speaking staff and that is what both languages needed to be on the same kitchen ticket. Even my previous 10-year-old POS can do that.

  16. My restaurant has a Clover Station that primarily handles to-go orders and Clover Flex devices that handle dine-in orders. Currently my default Order Type is set to Dine-In, but this default applies to all my Clover devices. I want to have a different default Order Type on my Clover Station since this device mainly handles to-go (sometimes I forget to select To-Go and it defaults to Dine-In).

    I would like to have the option to set a default Order Type based on device. The account-level default Order Type should still exist, but if the device has a device-specific default Order…

  17. restaurants have been asking for a smaller device to accept orders at tables. They would like something geared more towards the size of a Cellular Device instead of the Flex. This would only be allowed to accept orders, not payments

  18. We would appreciate being able to see the customer name column in the orders app. We realize we can see the name under the "notes" column but we often use this area for actual notes. We also realize we can click on a specific order and then the customer name will appear on the next screen but this is difficult when there are many orders on the list. It would be great if we could see the customer name instead of the order code.
