  1. Merchant wants the Telecheck tender type to prompt for the customer signature on the customer-facing Mini. It currently prompts for the signature on the Merchant-facing device, with "Automatically take payment on connected device" selected.

  3. I know there is custom item to put in whatever price onto the custom item, and you can put in text in the modifier. But the Custom Item can not be sent to the kitchen printer, so this is useless...

    Something like this will be very nice.

    A completely blank button for the merchants to put in whatever NAME, MODIFIER and PRICE on their own. And this needs to be able to fire to the kitchen printer.

  4. Please improve the battery back-up for the Clover Mini to allow completion of existing orders when there is a power failure. We had a full house when the power went out and the Mini went dark. We were able to use the Handheld device to reenter and complete processing all the orders. When the Mini came back on-line, we had to go in and cancel the original orders.

  5. there should be an option for customers to be selected for a transaction so the merchant can keep track of orders. instead of putting this information in the note sections

  6. Business Type: Butcher Shop

    The merchant has scales setup through out the location along with a Brother-label printer. The scales are not connected directly to the clover devices (Scale: Digi SM 5100)

    The merchant would like to be able to weigh an item, walk to any Clover Station at the location, scan the item (Scanner: Zebra DS 2208) the display would show the item name as well as the price according to weight. I advised the Business Consultant, the clover inventory application requires the item to exist within the inventory database in order to show the name, once recognized as…

  7. When two clover minis are tethered together, they work great by showing the customer the welcome screen and the employee enters the transaction on his/her end. When it's a debit/credit transaction, all is well, and it displays perfectly on customers facing terminal, but when the transaction is EBT, it will only allow the card to be swiped on the employee's terminal. I have looked at the settings, and spoke with customer service, and it seems there needs to be an update for this. Thank you.

  9. Merchant has a clover station classic and the enable/disable manual card entry is not an option for classic station only clover pro. Merchant would like the option on classic station.

  10. Currently the KDS will show all orders even the ones already expedited to the customer. Example
    I put in an appetizer for the customer of an order of Bruschetta. On the KDS the kitchen will touch the screen to say its ready and it is removed. 10 minutes later I place their main course and the KDS will show the Bruschetta (with a check mark) and the rest of the order. When a kitchen is busy you are now asking the kitchen to make sure they look for a check mark. This needs to be resolved where the item does…

  13. It would be nice if when adding a customer onto a new order that the option would be available to send the add customer page to the customer station for them to fill-out instead of the associate being the one to ask them their information and fill it out. Possible a pop-up asking associate to send page to customer or not.

  15. When making the orders on the KDS there needs to be the actual time on the top bar of the screen not just the timer when the item was fired.

  16. Clover should give an option to change the long receipt barcode into fewer numbers. I have to note down the transaction ID or barcode for review purposes later on. Printing out is impossible. It is much better to key a few numbers then I can pull the previous transaction again whenever I need quickly.

  17. On future generations of Clover Flex terminals suggest moving the position of the ON/Off button. Here is the feedback from several merchants: when passing the terminal for payment many customers prefer to pick up the terminal when entering PIN or inserting card and often accidentally turn off the terminal. This is very annoying in a fast paced environment.

  18. On the new clover kiosk, it should be an option to show the items on Kiosk instead of having to select the items to show online and to show on POS, the clover kiosk is at the business, and we would like to show our menu to our customers that are at the business.

  19. Customers that already setup for recurring payments sometimes have an update on their credit card with a new expiration date only. There seems to be no way to apply the update without replacing the card. This requires to call the customer and acquire all of the card information. This is more time consuming that necessary for the customer and myself. This feature was available for Payeezy Gateway. Please consider making this available on Clover Virtual Terminal.

  20. The chime that plays when an order is fired to the KDS is not loud enough. We turned up all the volume settings in the settings app, and with a noisy kitchen, it is very hard to hear. In some spots of the kitchen, I can't hear it at all. There also should be a way to change the type of chime that plays. Some chimes are easier to hear. I noticed in the settings app, you can change the chime type for notifications, but you cant for orders that fire to the KDS. Very disappointing. Hope its an easy…
