Rev Class Data On Employee Report (from Clover device)
Many restaurants have the need for employees to "tip-out" other employees based off of their sales of food and non-alcoholic beverages during their shift. This is fairly common for small & medium size restaurants. For this reason, it would be great to have Sales Totals by Revenue Class print on the Employee report that comes from the Clover device (not the web)... since the employee would need to pull the report themselves and may not have access to a computer. I've had this request from a handful of restaurants.

Service charges vs tips
Auto gratuities should be categorized as tips, not as service charges. For locations that pool tips this difference causes confusion when splitting the tips.

Ability to reorder tip options during checkout
Would like to have the ability to re-order how the tip options are laid out during the check out process on Station DUOs or Station 2s + mini combos. Would like to move the Skip option to the bottom under all the other tip options.

The Skip button on our tip screen is already at the bottom and for our new user interface, the No Tip button is also at the bottom. Can you please provide an image of this if you'd like to pursue this idea further?

Tip Suggestion Based On Order Type
Would like Dine In versus Take Out to have different tip suggestion options. We configured our tip suggestions from 15% to 30%. This works well for full Dine In service, however asking 15% to 30% for Take Out is rather high when limited service was provided so customers often select No Tip / Skip on our Clover Flex.
Would be excellent if we could additionally configure tip suggestions based upon order type to help generate more tips! So if order type is Take Out then we could set suggestions from 10% to 20%.

Would like a feature where tips can be added on both printed receipts and tablet screen
would like to take receipts on printed receipts and on tablet screen this would be really easy for customer to use and employees cause not all customers want a receipt and would much rather have to enter there tips on the tablet screen and not all customer want to place there tips on tablet screen and would much rather have there tips on a receipt where they can see there charges. This feature would be most helpful to merchants with one device and would also limits call to clover support to ask for card numbers to enter tips because they…

Make remove the "skip/no thanks" option in the tips menu a customizable option. (in French "non merci")
We can customize percentages, and the text for each, but it would be nice if it was make possible de remove the “skip” option althogether.
The customize option is there if a client decides not to leave anything. Just don’t make it so easy to be a cheap tool.

Servers required to declare tips before clocking out
Several POS companies including xxxx can require the wait staff employee to declare tips in order to open the option of clocking out. The business justification for this feature is that the IRS requires that wait staff employee tips must be declared at some point anyway, as part of the payroll process, by the employer. This shifts that responsibility to the wait staff employee so the employer/manager/accountant does not have to spend literally hours sifting through each individual's hours and sales to determine tips to declare for each shift. It would be really helpful to allow us to make tipping more customizable. Stuff like changing the wording to match our business and adding a function to round up to a dollar amount since we've found that people like that option to not have so much change.

Please allow us to remove the no tip option.
Venues should be allowed to remove the "No Tip" option at their own discretion. A customer can still decide to not tip, they'll just need to do so through the "Custom" tip option.
This is having such a negative impact on our venues that we're considering switching service providers. All major competitors would allow us to enact these kind of customizations.

Gratuity/Delivery Charge
Gratuity should only be based on the price of the product. When I enter a delivery charge it is included in my gratuity percentage because gratuity is a percent of the whole bill. There should be an option to add an additional fee for a delivery fee that is not taxed or included in gratuity but instead tacked onto the end total of the bill.

Ability to customize when tips option is appropriate under certain categories
Have a feature that allows us to customize categories for when tips are appropriate and when they are not. For example, if someone orders from the dine in/restaurant category, have a feature available for tipping. If they order grocery items, they should not have an option to tip.

Tipping out back of house
I work in a place where it is customary to tip out the back of house workers that make my job possible. When we had cash tips, this was very easy. However, now that we are a cashless facility, this is much more difficult. Is there a way to be able to direct a portion of my tips to the BoH workers when I close out for the night? This would be a very appreciated feature for my fellow employees who work so hard to make sure I can do my job effortlessly.

We need to be able to split the tips in relation to what is being spent ie spa girls and cafe staff
client pays $300 for spa service and $25 on cafe and then tips 20% can we split the tips to each accordingly so clover will keep track of who gets what?

Online Order Tipping
Hello, it's vital that the new clover online ordering function that is replacing the Ordering.app has an option to add tips to an online order. My employees are getting frustrated they no longer receive tips and the customers what this feature as well. This is VITAL to keeping my workers happy. Ordering.app had this feature as default and we are losing that service. Please let me know ASAP. Again, super important.

Adjusting Tips
Occationally someone accidentally adds a tip that didn't want to, or tips more than they mean to. There is no way for us to go in and adjust the tip for them. We would like to see this function added to make it more convenient for our guests.

Color Code Tip Options
Research shows color coding tip options motivate tippers. The color Gold is the best tipping option to be selected to motivate tipping.

tip on paper for phone order on Duo
Currently on clover duo, if you have it set to 'tip on screen' but you get a phone order and input card information manually (like a pizza shop) the system wont let you add tip because the customer is not present. whenever manual card info is input, the receipt should print on paper so driver can gather signature and tip on delivery.

Additional Tip line for gratuity payments
In restaurants, we have a policy for automatic gratuity of parties of 6 or more. We have to have the gratuity added on our POS system (Aloha) and then we have to run the transaction for the amount before gratuity on clover, then go back into receipts on clover and add the tip, then reprint the receipt. When the receipt is printed with the gratuity, there is no line for additional tip. We need that so badly! Please! We deserve the right to potentially make more than 18%, especially on a difficult party/table/table that wants to be more generous. Please…
