Calculate tip values next to the percentage BEFORE they choose the tip
My clients often choose a percentage without knowing what the dollar value of that equates to until after they press it. Every competitor I’ve looked in to and personally used has this feature except Clover. Example: ticket is $60, the tips should show “15% / $9” “20% / $12” “25% / $15” or something to that effect. Another example: On a $15 service, people might select 10% and then get embarrassed when they realize they only tipped me $1.50.

Cannot adjust tips on the third parties merchants order like UberEat
Restaurant business, I cannot add the tips to any of my orders from the third party merchants like UberEat, Online website, or Grubhub.
Adding and adjusting tips to all orders, not just credit card, should be more flexible.

Tip issues
We recently started requiring a deposit for large parties at our wine bar. i made a button to ring in a ticket for half the normal amount to reflect the deposit already paid. my bar tender brought to my attention that this leaves them with only 10% gratuity rather than the 20% we would normally put on a ticket like this. i want to make sure my employees are getting their full tips and not getting short changed. is there anyway we can add a manual input gratity or import the deposit from stripe some how

On Clover Go Rearrage Order
On the Clover Go device the order needs to be changed.
Currently, I select an item, insert the client card, flip the screen for a tip, they immediately flip it back to me because it then pops up remove card, THEN it asks them to sign so we flip it back. There needs to be a way to add tip, then immediately sign.1 vote -
Tip Function for Phone Sales
Hi
As a restaurant with an overall increase in phone sales related to the pandemic it would be very useful to include a tip prompt on PHONE SALES. For restaurants, many of our customers would like to leave a tip and be able to see it on their receipt. They can do that through the regular sale function but we cannot do so through a phone sale. The only way to add a tip is todo so manually and therefore it doesn't show separately on the receipt.

Enter tips on receipt for Pre-auth transactions
Would like to be able to use the "Skip and Print" option to print tip lines on receipt and then be able to enter those tips in the Tips app. This is currently how it works for normal transactions however for pre-auth transactions the tip line will print on receipt but the tip cannot be added to the transaction later in the Tips app

Having the ability to have the server pay the discount fee on tips
I had a restaurant owner ask if we had the ability to have a tip report that has the option to deduct a percentage off the tips owed to a server to cover the discount rate the restaurant would pay on the tips. Example. Server has $100.00 in credit card tips for the day. The tip report would calculate the 3% fee the owner will pay on tip and deduct the $3 and say the server will be paid out $97. This feature will save the owner thousands of dollars a year. I lost the deal due to not having…

TIPS APP- ADD GIFT AND CHECK TIPS ADDED THROUGH THE TIPS APP TO REPORTING
MERCHANTS THAT REQUIRE SIGNATURE/TIPS ON PRINTED RECEIPTS ARE ABLE TO ADD TIPS TO CHECKS AND GIFT CARD TRANSACTIONS IN THE TIP APP. HOWEVER, THE CLOVER EQUIPMENT DOESN'T INCLUDE THOSE TIPS IN THE REPORTING APP AND DO NOT APPEAR IN THE WEB DASHBOARD. SEVERAL MERCHANTS HAVE PREVIOUSLY CALLED EXPLAINING HOW THIS HAS MADE IT DIFFICULT WHEN CALCULATING THEIR END OF YEAR TOTALS BECAUSE THEY HAVE BEEN ADDING TIPS TO CHECKS AND GIFT CARDS THROUGHOUT 2020 IN THE TIP APP.

Option to Print out tip suggestions on reciept or show on screen on demand.
It would be great if you could include a button that allows us the option to show tip suggestions on the screen or print on receipt on demand. Sometimes I need it to be printed on paper when bring it to a customers table and other times if they pay at the register i would like it to show on the screen. I know you can choose one or the other in print settings but its a hassel to switch back and fourth

Tips on the Register App
At this moment, if an employee uses the Register app, the tips go to the person who cash out the transaction. For example, Joe takes a phone order and hit "save" using the Register App. Then, Peter cash out that transaction. The tips goes to Peter instead of Joe. We need to fix this because a full service restaurant has a lot of take out orders. And the servers do not share the tips. Creating tables on Clover Dinning as a workaround won't work when there are lots of take-out orders. Opening Bar & More tab won't work either because…
