Adjusting Tips
Occationally someone accidentally adds a tip that didn't want to, or tips more than they mean to. There is no way for us to go in and adjust the tip for them. We would like to see this function added to make it more convenient for our guests.

Additional Tip line for gratuity payments
In restaurants, we have a policy for automatic gratuity of parties of 6 or more. We have to have the gratuity added on our POS system (Aloha) and then we have to run the transaction for the amount before gratuity on clover, then go back into receipts on clover and add the tip, then reprint the receipt. When the receipt is printed with the gratuity, there is no line for additional tip. We need that so badly! Please! We deserve the right to potentially make more than 18%, especially on a difficult party/table/table that wants to be more generous. Please…

We need to be able to split the tips in relation to what is being spent ie spa girls and cafe staff
client pays $300 for spa service and $25 on cafe and then tips 20% can we split the tips to each accordingly so clover will keep track of who gets what?

Ask for a tip while the customer is signing, not before
It would make much more sense if the program asked the customer if they would like to leave a tip during, or after they are signing the screen. Currently, when we are running a payment for a customer, the program asks for a tip while we are still entering payment information, and it is awkward for us to ask the customer for a tip at that time. We (and Clover) would run more tips if it asked the customer to leave a tip at the time the customer is leaving their signature

Bring back Tip line on both Clover terminal AND printed receipt
PLEASE bring back Tip line on both the Clover terminal AND the printed receipt!
This option was recently removed and guests want to pay with a credit card at the table on their printed ticket but we also have customers that pay at the counter and choose to tip on the terminal screen too. We need both options back again, please!1 vote -

i have been with clover for a few years now and i have over 15 stations i am in the service business so it is very important for me to split tips employees under a single transaction, i like clover but if this feature isn't added we are considering switching out

Portrait Mode on Clover Go apps
On Android tablets, there is no way to stop the Clover Go app from going into landscape mode on the TIP/Signature screens. Merchant would like to ability to remain in portrait mode for the entire payment sequence. The Clover Go app ignores portrait mode lock in settings.

option to add tips on signature screen
Hello Clover community,
our business would like to combine the signature screen and payment screen together versus outright showing the customer the tips screen first and then the sginature screen second.
It's a friendlier way to present someone the tip option which in our business is optional (unlike restaurants which is pretty common thing) and the customer doesn't feel pressured to give us more money which some might dislike and find it uncomfortable, ultimately resulting in poor customer service.

make it possible to tip on both the clover terminal and have a tip option on the printed receipt.
We have a diner and use clover. Most guests check out on the way out at the host station, and they tip on the terminal.
Sometimes guests want to pay with credit card at the table but when we drop the printed credit card authorization slip we have to draw in the tip line because Clover makes you choose only one option to tip either on the terminal OR on the printed receipt. Change Tip Location
Merchant would like to have the location of screen for tips. In other words he would like to put screen that asks for tips put at the last part of the transaction.

Add tip to a deposit
Currently a deposit is removed from the total amount due via a split transaction. The tip is calculated on the remaining balance instead of the total bill. A separate split tab could be created to account for a prepaid deposit.

Online Order Tipping
Hello, it's vital that the new clover online ordering function that is replacing the Ordering.app has an option to add tips to an online order. My employees are getting frustrated they no longer receive tips and the customers what this feature as well. This is VITAL to keeping my workers happy. Ordering.app had this feature as default and we are losing that service. Please let me know ASAP. Again, super important.

Tip Entry needs to be accessed on tablet screen AND printed receipt.
Tip Entry is currently only allowed to be set to Tablet Screen OR Printed Receipt which doesn't work for restaurants that have table service and counter service. Please allow Tip Entry to be inputted both on the tablet screen AND on printed receipt simultaneously so it can be accessed both ways whenever needed.

A current workaround is to set up one device with counter service (tip on tablet) and another device with tip on paper.

Merchant want to set up both ways for the tip entry. One is adding tip during the sale, other one is adjusted tip after sale.
The most of terminal machines can be set both functions in the one devices. This issue should be easy to solve.
