Bar and More Employee Name
In the Clover Dining App, on the Bar and More tab... each tab can show the customer name, but it is valuable to also show the employee/server name here. This is valuable for bars that have multiple bar tenders, multiple bars and for called in to-go orders.

Lead-time for orders program to allow automated queue wait times as orders increase

How can we make Categories go away for certain time period ?
For example, merchant has Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner menu and the prices are not the same. Since they do have such a large menu they don’t want to see Dinner menu during breakfast time or breakfast menu during dinner.9 votes -
ReOpen Closed Tickets
We often have times that a mistake is made on a ticket, ie. taxes need to be removed for an EBT ticket or other tax exempt customer. We then refund the full amount, but can't reopen the ticket to remove the tax. We then consequently have to re-ring the entire ticket and run again without taxes. This is the most frequent issue. It just creates a lot of open tickets that we can't delete. We would like to see this as a function added to make it more convenient for our guests.

Clover Dining Inventory Management
When a menu item is out of stock, Clover Dining does not give the option to remove the ability for a server to continue ordering that item.
Servers can still place the order causing many issues. Also, quantity on hand is not updated until an item is paid for - this does not help the issue when orders are held in the saved/orders app until a table is paid. This has caused many lost sales as we are a reseller for Clover9 votes -
When the menu's items are all "Tax Included"

"We have been using Clover for a few weeks and have been very pleased with it. When we converted from our old system, we carried over the prices from our old system. Each item had the “taxes included” in the price we charged.
Our old point of sale used a system that allowed us to calculate the taxes we needed to pay to the state from the “total item price” which included the sales tax. (They called it “Tax Inclusive”.) For example, we set the price of an item at $10.00 (tax inclusive). Our report would show that…

Option to remove auto-fire when hitting Pay
I inadvertently added a wrong item (i.e. a dinner portion rather than lunch) and fired it. We verbally corrected the item with the kitchen, and I deleted the item and re-rang it WITHOUT FIRING. However when I hit Pay at the end of the meal, it automatically fired that item and kitchen made it again.

Per Device Default Order Type
It would be great to have the ability to set the "Order Type" default per device.
For example. The Clover Station in the bar defaults to "Dine-In" while a Clover Flex is used outside for Curbside orders without having the user have to change the order type on the Non-Table Order or the Register App each time an order is done.
This would allow flexiblity to have some Flex Units default to "Curbside" or "Special Event" if they are used for outside catering.

Better notification when order is not printed
Network isue or any other issue when kitchen printer is offline and order is not printed in the kitchen. Notify on the main screen so that it is easier to identify issue. Right now notification is on notification bar which is easily missed.

Multi-Level Menu Options
The menu will only go one level deep. For a full service restaurant with a full bar, they have to have too many tabs because the menu won't go more than one level. They have to have a menu option for each type of liquor in order to list the corresponding cocktails and liquors rather than selecting liquor, then the type, then the ******** ordered.

Clover Dining: Splitting Clover Rewards at a table
The merchant is using the Clover Dining App . The merchant is unable to split Clover Rewards points on the table to each customer. They can only reward the entire table when paying out the order. The merchant was able to use this functionally in the tables app. The merchant needs this to be added to the Dining app.

Cashier mode in Clover Dining
Requesting the ability to use Clover Dining in Cashier mode. This would allow a cashier to collect payments for the servers and subtract the credit card tips from the "cash due" in the Payments report.
