over write clover id for inventory from my older clover
I am transferring to new clover. My older clover has ECWID account linked to it, and the way the website part is built to use the clover ID from inventory sheet to point. Now when setting up the new clover, it will not allow me to overwrite the clover ID, it will actually automatically generate a new clover ID to my inventory. Which means I will have to rebuild my website again every time I need to change my clover hardware, which I do every once every 10 months and I own 8 stores. Building a new website with 3500…

Better Tools for Scanning In and Receiving Inventory Linked to QuickBooks
Retail stores should be able to receive and scan inventory as they receive new shipments, and that data should be able to sync back to QuickBooks.

Please give an option to update the logo on the online ordering above the business information.
That makes things easy for the customers to find the right restaurant they are irdering

Manager or employees Should be able to add the inventory but they should not be able to delete the inventory
Right now the inventory app doest have any limitations. If we give permission to the manager he can delete the inventory the owner doesn't know want is going on.

Print Numbering for Online Orders
Online orders also needs to be numbered when printed to the Kitchen. Online ordering, content to be printed along with numbering should function exactly as ordered from the device.

Clover needs to integrate directly with OpenTable. When dining returns and is OK after COVID, we need to be ready.
Easily 75% of all FSRs in the greater NYC area use OpenTable for their reservations. To NOT integrate directly with OpenTable is a huge yellow flag for established FSRs to switch to Clover.

Disable ASAP orders
We would like to accept online orders at least a day in advance only.
I believe an easy fix would be to offer the merchant the ability to extend the food prep time outside of an hour to a custom amount of time (for example, 24 hours or 1 day, 2 days)
Another fix would be to give the merchant an option to disable “pickup ASAP” leaving only “schedule an order” under pickup time.

Delay inventory cloud updates.
It is cumbersome to have inventory updates automatically push to the POS. This auto publish can disrupt service during regular hours, and inhibits working on menus, items, and inventory while the business is open, as well as when it is most productive to work on inventory.
If you can schedule a push to the cloud instead of automatically with every change it allows for a more productive and continuous workflow.1 vote -
Clover Dining should add a Spill button to keep track of drink that are being dropped
The merchants would like to have a button added or an option that when an item is removed from the Dining app it would ask the reason. For example if a drink is dropped or spilled, that when that item is removed they could select that option to track it.

when you make changes or void on any fired items, kitchen will need to get notified as well and you should able to destinate which order printer to receive this notifications, so our food runner or chef can make sure the modification or deleted item will not be made accordingly. The current system forces our employees to run or walk to the kitchen to notify this. Add note is not wise because it can be ignored and require many typing.
