An alert message should be changed for employees who don't have access to inventory while scanning items. Currently if an item is not in inventory and an employee scans it who doesn't have access to add items into inventory, Clover scanner beeps as if it was a normal item entered in inventory, briefly displays a discreet message which almost blends into the background of the Clover display, and allows the clerk to continue scanning other items. A report to view inventory that hasn't sold in 6 months to a year.
I want to be able to run a report that shows me all the inventory that has not had sales for 6 months or longer to recognize aged inventory that needs to be discounted and clearanced to sell.
It tracks all the sales data, I just need it to show me what didn't sell within selected date ranges.

online ordering feature a better user experience layout option vs scrolling. Add a collapse feature to speed up the selection process.
Online Ordering should have a collapse layout or some other layout options for a more intuitive end-user (customer) experience. if you look 1 of my siteshttps://paradisesmoothiejuicebar.com/mableton-order-online customers select smoothie then Berry White (ex.) they have to scroll vs there being a collapsed or tabbed option they can see more and make the ordering process more intuitive and less friction. As a developer I have to program in usability that make the experience even more challenging. Please advise?

Third Party Ordering Check Box, in addition to "On POS" or "Online"
We need a 3rd Party Ordering Check Box so we can have a separate Inventory/Menu, in the INVENTORY>ITEMS submenu so that we can price DoorDash etc independently, from our POS or our own Online Pricing

Return to place when searching/editing inventory
Currently, when editing inventory, it brings the user back to the top of the list every time. This is extremely cumbersome with a large (4,000+ item) inventory such as mine. Every time I need to edit multiple items, I have to scroll back down several pages just to get back to where I left off in the list. Thank you!

the ability to export the items in a single category and not all items A-Z
i need to export my inventory by category , like all of my clothes are together, shoes together, jewelry together and so on ....my inventory is in sections throughout my store and being able to export by category would keep me from running all over the store A-Z ....currently the category will not export , the 3 dots at the top right will only enable you to delete !! NOT GOOD

Customize Online Ordering Page
My website uses Clover for online ordering. It would be very helpful to add customization in terms of pictures, logos, etc. to that specific page to make it more unique to each website owner. If there's any possible way for this to happen, please let me know as I would like make my ordering page more lively or at least have my logo set up on there

Small changes to make "items" section more user friently
In the items section the width of the columns should be able to adjusted. Some items that have longer names get cut off.
When searching for an item in the register app could there be a way to sort the items in the search by price (highest to lowest or vice versa)2 votes -

Menu update takes longer time like several hours
Our POS Clover is integrated with GrubHub & Doordash. Any menu updates we do gets instantly updated in Doordash but it takes several hours to update in GrubHub system. This creates confusion among Customers on seeing different menu in different online ordering services. Also in the case of removing an item during business hours, customer can still select that item and place an order from GrubHub, but the order end up getting canceled because in POS the item is removed but GrubHub it is still showing up. How can we make Categories go away for certain time period ?
For example, merchant has Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner menu and the prices are not the same. Since they do have such a large menu they don’t want to see Dinner menu during breakfast time or breakfast menu during dinner.11 votes -

When i create Items with variants and use export import to my other locations
they transfer as normal items not as they created as a variant item
also when u need to update name on a variant item u cannot
you need to delete it and create it all over again as the name section is dimmed

Clover register needs scanned items counting numbers. So cashier can see how many items were scanned total before checkout.

Name assigned to email address needs to be editable
The wrong name was used when the initial account was created. You are unable to edit the name on an employee, and even if you delete the employee account and create a new account with the correct name the system will automatically change the name to the wrong original name attached to that email address.
Our RM has advised that the email is like a “fingerprint” in the Clover ecosystem. However it was originally input, errors or not, the system will always revert back to the original. Names should be able to be changed/updated/fixed - at least by the admin/owner.…

Ability To Make Items Non-Inventory
Items like services do not need to be counted as inventory, only the sales need to be tracked. It would be really handy to be able to mark items as Non-Inventory (all the same functions for price, cost, etc as usual) and still have them as a sellable item. Services are not inventory!

Tax Exemption Tag for Customer Accounts
Customer accounts should be able to be tagged as Tax Exempt so that we don't have to be reminded every time we ring a particular customer up - especially when we are selling to companies and schools with an exemption.

Do not allow duplicate items to be keyed into the hardware.
It would be good to not allow duplicate items to be keyed into the hardware.
I spend a lot of time editing existing clover inventory/menu export lists.
Clover allows merchants to key in duplicate items form the hardware but you cannot import this inventory list into another location because you will get an error.1 vote
