Custom modifier search in orders, line items
We are a retail store and we use the custom modifier section to put the name of the item being purchased. For example if someone is purchasing a table, we will put table in this section. we used to be able to put the description that we put in the custom modifier section into the SEARCH box. For example if we want to see everyone that purchased a table in the last 60 days we can search that . our sales numbers are very high so going through reports really is not an option. Break down Quantities even further than Categories
There is only an option to add quantity of items to categories. However, businesses with a lot of products, would have to have a lot of different categories in order to keep stock up to date. There should be a way to add quantities to labels, so we can break it down even further.

Inventory and Register app to handle Kegs / Multiple Ingredients
For premises that sell Pints and half Pints it would be ideal to have one central stock item (keg) that Pints / Half Pints could be sold from. The same would go for Cocktails: 1 item in the register that is made up from multiple items fro inventory

Stock Count leave inventory as the ticket goes to kitchen NOT waiting for payment.
We take many orders over the phone. Taking payment over the phone takes more time and I am charged more for manually entering cards. We prefer payment when the order is picked up in person.
Example
We have 6 lasagnas to sell. We have and order come in for 3 lasagnas to be picked up at 6pm still waiting for payment to be collected at 6pm. In the mean time we have four other orders wanting lasagna. The computer says there are still 6 lasagnas when truly there is only 3. And the 4th person is out lasagna. Creating sad…1 vote -
Customer display does not reset when no receipt is issued
On the order receipt selection screen after payment is tendered, if you don't select a receipt option & just click 'done' the customer display remains on the last order until the next order is tendered for payment. The screen needs to reset regardless of the receipt type being issued. Clicking 'done' without selecting another option should be interpreted as 'no receipt'. Clover Station Duo.

Billing & Statements assign permissions by employee role
Currently, the billing & statements options are only viewable by owner & admin roles. We have created roles for our finance team that gives them access to reporting only & nothing else, but there is no option to give them access to statements without making them an admin.

Select All Items in a Category when making Rules by Order Type
When creating a Rule by Order Type it makes you select each individual item. I suggest that you add an option to select all items from within a category. Or an option to apply the rule to an entire category.

Add the ability to upload multiple photos per item
While being able to upload photos is wonderful, having the ability to upload only 1 photo is a bit frustrating for online sales. Not being able to highlight certain intricacies of an item doesn't bode well for online sales

Assign item to revenue class from item maintenance
Currently the only way we can assign items to revenue classes is to add the item to the revenue class which is messy & not very well organized. It would be nice to have the ability to assign an item to a revenue class from item maintenance. This would also help insure that items are not being excluded from revenue classes when used.

Let us have 2 cell phone numbers on file
My daughter and I share the bookkeeping job. When she is here, she has trouble signing in at times as it sends the security code to my phone. If I am not near my phone she is out of luck. Can we have two cell phones to receive from so she can pick hers. Thank you

Restrict who can remove taxes from an order
I think it would be useful to have the option to "Remove Taxes From Order" permission assigned to groups of users instead of all users.

Receipt
I need to be able to enter 20 items and have the receipt show 20 items, the individual cost, and the subtotal. Not just 20 items and subtotal. Customer needs to know how much they paid per item (tree) and not have to do the calculation. Only other option is for the same item to show up 20 times on the receipt, which is hard to count.

Allow Tables to be assigned to servers in Clover Dining
Allow tables to be assigned to a "section" and allow a section to be assigned to a server.
This would allow a Host/Hostess to easily see how many tables are occupied for a specific server. They will be able to make sure tables are spread out between servers more evenly.1 vote -
Any news on the bug that prints a double paper receipt?
It's been a long time since this bug was introduced and even though I'm not an expert on software engineering it seems like such a basic simple thing that is bugging a lot of customers that is hard to believe it would take weeks to fix.

Clover Software Update to allow duplicate prints on the order receipts.
I would like to suggest that the clover software update have an option to allow duplicate printing on the order printers. It would be helpful because when we send an order to the kitchen, we need the kitchen printer to have two copies printed, one for the chefs and one for the expos.
Right now, we have to send the original order, then resend by going into the orders app. This is time consuming during rush hours.
