Make a function to add/split shift on the clover.com admin Dashboard
I had an employee who was clocked in for 10 days. They clocked in on their 1st shift and then never clocked out. They worked a total of 3 shifts in that timespan. I went in to run the report for payroll and found she was currently clocked in. On the dashboard there is only a way to edit existing punches. There is no way to close her shift, or add a clock-out punch then edit it. A function to split the shift would have helped also

Individual item sales reports
Right now it appears there isn't a way to automatically review sales data for a specific item for longer than 3 months. So if I want to reorder a seasonal item from a year ago, I have NO idea how much I sold last year. Last four of card
Add a column to Transaction Reporting page showing the last four of the card number. You would be able to avoid clicking "Detail" to identify a transaction. This is really helpful when trying to compare batches to deposit totals on the processors end.

dashboard compare hourly sales
On the dashboard you show us net sales for the current day and a comparison to last week. Below that we see the hourly of todays sales. It would be SO helpful if you could also show the hourly sales of the previous day just right on top of the current day with a different color on the graph. It would be great to compare hourly sales from the same day last week.

Cash Deposit Report
The client does not pay out his employees tips in cash at the end of the day. Instead, he includes the tips are part of the servers paychecks to ensure proper tax report.
The Cash Deposit reports assumes the client will payout the credit card in tips and therefore reduce the total cash deposit.
For clients that do not pay out the tips in cash, this creates an accounting nightmare and leaves the individual stores open to errors (paying out tips when they should not) and fraud.

Start Shift Close Shift
A lot of Business Make 2 or 3 shift daily, that shift have Start with petty cash leave the last day after close the last shift. We can insert a deposit in Clover the same day of the Reporting but if we leave a deposit the last day in the new day of reporting that petty is not.
Is a great idea how much is the petty leave in the cash log for the next day.
