Making Schedules for Items or Categories
I would like to have the ability to only show our Breakfast Category during our breakfast hours that are from 6am-12pm on our POS. Currently there is no way of doing it with setting a time. I can only do it manually and that is hard because I am not always here to do it. I would prefer something that would automatically do it once I make a schedule in the system. Allow multiple modifier selection on COLO
In-store our clover pos allows us to select multiple identical modifiers by tapping the plus sign next to the modifier name. Example: Order of three tacos with multiple meat options where the three options can be the same or different such as three chicken tacos or 2 chicken one steak. However when a customer places an order of that same three taco entree online they aren't allowed to select multiple of the same meat choice. They are forced to select three different kind of meat. Print Menu Items Prices to Kitchen Printers
Menu Items or custom items should print the price to the kitchen printer. I almost got in a fight with the Chef because he asked me how much I was charging for a custom item and I told him 8.99 and he asked me to see my handheld. I told him I don't have time for this and we kept arguing and it was embarrassing for the customers watching everything.

We’d like to clarify that showing prices on kitchen tickets is generally not considered best practice. Kitchen staff should only focus on what needs to be prepared and when, without being concerned about pricing. This helps avoid confusion and keeps the workflow smooth.
Regarding custom items, if the chef needs price details to decide on preparation or cost optimisation, we recommend creating a dedicated item in your inventory instead of using a generic custom item. This way, the price and recipe are clearly defined upfront, and there’s no need for back-and-forth during service.

kds needs server names on tickets
Display server names is essential for Expo mode on KDS. If there is a question with a ticket, the expo person needs to know what server to go to.
KDS needs a summary of all orders with counts. If there are 5 tickets on the display, there needs to be a summary bar like freshKDS that shows for example 5 burgers 4 soups 1 sub etc. the total number or all items that are fired in a summary.
Needs font and color sizes
Table numbers could be bigger and Dine in or take out could be smaller

Order Management Functionality
We have identified a significant issue with our Clover POS system that is causing considerable confusion among our staff. Specifically, there is currently no functionality to mark online orders as Ready for Pickup or Picked Up. As a result, all incoming orders are displayed in a single list without any indication of their status. This lack of differentiation makes it difficult for our team to manage order flow efficiently and track which orders are still being prepared versus those that have already been collected or are ready for pickup. This a must for good POS system.

Route to kitchen printer only applicable items, not whole order
Currently, when an order contains items labelled for different Kitchen Printers, the entire prints on all printers. Can the merchant be able to print only the applicable items of a given order to each printer?

We noticed that the issue you’re experiencing is likely due to item labels not being set up correctly. The good news is that Clover already has a solution for this which other's are using already.
To make sure your items automatically print on the right printer, please follow these steps:
Set up printer labels for your items
Create a Printer Label → https://www.clover.com/en-GB/help/create-a-printer-label
Configure items to send to the correct order printer
Automatically Send Items to Order Printers → https://www.clover.com/en-GB/help/automatically-send-items-to-order-printers
Once these steps are completed, your items will print on the correct printer without any issues.

Need a setting to disable the pop up for number of guests in Clover Dining
1 voteTo support the upcoming Guest Count Report planned for release in 2025, we’ve updated the default settings to require guest count entry for every order. This change ensures consistent and accurate data collection across all dining experiences.
If merchants prefer to revert to the previous settings, they can do so by navigating to:
Dining App → Hamburger Menu (top left) → Settings → Define Guest Count

Cash Change Back before receipt
Clover just altered the cash checkout process. It now asks if a customer wants a receipt BEFORE telling the employee what change was due. Please fix it!

Show Change Due on the "Customer is selecting receipt type" Screen
I have had several merchants reach out to me, their ISO, because their teams cannot see the Change Due until the customer chooses a receipt type. They are left starting at a screen that says:
"Customer is selecting receipt type...No Receipt or Print"
If they make the receipt selection for the customer so that they can get to the Change Due screen, the customer doesn't have the option to email it to themselves.
Could we please show the Change Due on the merchant facing side while the customer selects a receipt type.

To support kitchen staff who prefer working in Spanish, we encourage you to use the Item Alternate Name feature in Inventory. This allows you to add item names in Spanish, which will appear on both the Kitchen Display System (KDS) and printed receipts in the BOH.
As a helpful reminder:
"Use alternate inventory names – Prints the alternate name on the label. If the employees preparing the order speak another language, consider using alternate names."This small change can make a big difference in improving clarity and efficiency in the kitchen.

Modifier availability or 86 item
The ability to turn on or off the availability of a single modifier, if a modifier runs or not available like a topping, there should be the same availability for the items to 86’ the item or make it unavailable to the modifier single item which could also translate the availability on 3rd party channel platforms and integrate the availability modifier accordingly.

Items with different prices
There is an issue when we have items with different prices based on size for example. On kiosk the costumer sees the items with 0 price then he has to choose the size.
It looks ugly when items are shown with $0.00 prices. If there is a way to post the base price of the item and can be changed when choosing the size.. That will be great.1 vote -
remove qr code
Hi,
I’d like to suggest adding an option to remove the QR code from payment receipts. It significantly increases printing time and doesn’t serve any purpose in our current setup.
For high-volume businesses like ours, every second counts. Being able to disable the QR code would help speed up transactions and reduce customer wait times.

Taking items offline in the register
When are you going to bring back the ability to take items offline on the register?? What is the most frustrating thing as a busy business owner is having to pull out my phone and be the ONLY one that's able to take an item offline and be able to put it back online when it's available again. I can't have employees logging into my clover account seeing my financials just to navigate the 10 step process to take an item offline. Print Label on Custom Item
When using the "Custom Item" button within Clover Dining, it is not possible to assign a printer label to the item. This means that the item will appear on the guest check but it will never be fired to the kitchen. Am I missing something?

Merchant receipt needs to print the actual tax & fees not the total
Merchant receipt needs to print the actual tax & fees not the total.
Currently printed customer receipt states the actual fee or taxes however on the merchant receipt where the customer needs to sign it totals the amounts not itemized. If we only have a fee and no taxes it states "total taxes" which is misleading when there are no taxes.2 votes
