Why is that we are waising about an extra inch of inch of blank space on the header and footer for each receipt that prints out. I
Can it be that each customer has a option of how long they want the headers and footers to be.

Make Stock changes more accessible
Stock is not easily updated at all. As it is, you have to go into each item and into a smaller menu to adjust numbers. It's really ridiculously inconvenient.
UPDATE: Make stock changes from a menu view, like Categories, and all you would need to do is click on the number in the Stock column and change it. It's already highlighted in blue, why doesn't that indicate any functionality?

Correct COGS calculation on Sales Report and Item Sales Report
When a Sales Report or Item Sales Report is generated for a month or more, several line items are incorrectly calculating the COGS causing a negative Gross Sales amount. There is also a discrepancy in the Amount Collected on the Sales Report under Sales and Tender Types.

Improve Accounting Sync Mapping for 3rd Party Gift Card Activations
We are requesting an enhancement to Clover’s Accounting Sync functionality to address how third-party gift card activations, such as eCard Systems, are reported and mapped to QuickBooks Online. Currently, only Clover-branded gift card activations are included in the “Gift Card Activations” field and can be mapped to a liability account in QuickBooks.
However, third-party gift card activations (such as eCard Systems) are imported as non-revenue item sales and are included under Net Sales when synced to QuickBooks, creating confusion and potential double-counting of revenue:

Clover Gift Card Order Quantities Result In Multiple Orders & Shipping Fees
There currently isn’t a way to edit the quantity of a Clover Gift Card order once it’s been submitted, not even through Clover Gift Support. The only available option for editing an order is to cancel within one hour. This creates a problem when the required quantity isn’t available as a single order option. For example, if I need 600 cards, I have to place one order for 500 and a second for 100, which results in paying shipping twice and incurring a higher per-card cost for the smaller order.

Online Ordering
We are a beach chair rental business on one of the busies most beautiful beaches on St. Thomas, VI. Magens Bay.
We would like to close Tuesdays and Wednesdays permanently to prevent overbookings. Unfortunately, this cannot be done on the Clover dashboard or app. When we pause these days all of our online ordering is turned off for present and future bookings.

Please add item pricing type "Per unit" to the new Essentials plan. So it would be "Fixed" "Variable" and "Per Unit" Thank you. Merchants do not want to pay 89.95 a month just to sell per unit

Missing Print Option for Monthly Statements
Hi Developers
Through out the Web Dashboard, you have "Print" hyper links for various displayed lists or reports. So getting things printed to my connected PC printer works seamlessly.
Yet when you go to the Monthly Statements section you have no way to print the list of statements, or more critical, once you open a statement, you have no way to print it.
I would like to be able to open a "Clover Plan and App Statement" and then be able to click a "PRINT" button/link and get a report.
There is currently NO WAY to print one of these…

Ability to set sales goals by employee
We need to show employees how much to the goal we set like offered in light speed. The software price went up but along the way critical features are gone or not up to par with other POS systems in the industry. NEED stock count in the app back. This is ridiculous not to have it for retail businesses.

Allow Quantities Over 99
This seems like it should be a very basic feature, but it is super frustrating to not have the capability to enter item quantities of over 99. If I had known this wasn't possible I would not have purchased Clover. However I did not think about it not being available because it is ridiculous. I have had to redo my entire inventory as bulk items and has increased the complexity of orders and really slowed down efficiency and accuracy of staff. Cash Drawer Manager (Till Management)
Till Management, or Cash Drawer Management, should be a core product offering. There is a severe lack of reporting and controls in high volume retail environments where cash drawers are reconciled multiple times per day with multiple tenders. The development appears to be available in the Clover Sport product set and should be included in all plan levels.
This would be highly useful at all levels and it is surpassing that it has not been deployed.
Additionally:
1. Assigning cash drawers to users seems logical given that there are 2 drawer ports on the hub.

Edit variant item name
There is currently no way to edit a variant item name. You can edit the overall name of the product, but not the variant. You have to delete the variant and then reupload, which means having to re-enter the price, cost, SKU, product code, stock, categories, modifiers, and more. It adds a massive amount of time when you have to do multiple.

Bulk edit cost
The bulk edit cost used to exist, and this new version of Clover has removed it. It adds HOURS to our inventory. We are able to edit everything else we need in bulk - price, SKU, product, and more, but we have to click in to each individual item to edit the cost, and it is incredibly time consuming and frustrating.

Merge items into variant items
We do not have the ability to turn a normal product into a variant item. This makes things difficult with having to delete and then recreate the item. It would also be great to be able to merge items into one variant item. For example, if I have 15 separate items, I would love to be able to merge them all into one larger item with variants.

bring back multi-location dashboard for updating inventory
we are a retail store with 2 locations that sell the same items, and we used to be able to easily update our inventory information for both locations at the same time from one screen, but that option seems to have gone away, and now it takes way too long and is a royal pain in the butt to make changes. And uploading the changes on a spreadsheet just doubles the items instead of overwriting the existing information, so we have to go in and delete the old items. Have a closing report that splits out the type of credit card and advice customers of changes ahead of time
Go back to having a closing reports which summarizes the totals per type of card being printed in the location. Advise customers of changes before.
