Subject: Request for Assistance with Clover Open Order Print Report
Hi Dev Team,
I’d like to bring to your attention an issue I encountered while trying to generate the Clover open order print report. Although the filter functionality is available, there is no option to select a printer either on the POS system or the online portal.
Could you please address this issue at your earliest convenience? It is essential to enable this option for all Clover open order print views. We need the ability to print these reports to verify details such as:
Who opened the order

Itemized reports for each QR code
We would like a way to run a sales report for each QR code or payment link that we make so we can see a total amount of sales for each thing.

ability to stay on item while editing, new update requires you research
please reinstate the ability to edit an item or group of similar items with out requiring to re-search each time you save. new update changed this, before item would stay available to updates on similar items. new update resets the inventory field when saved and requires you to search for similar items again

Option to select a saved email to send the receipt to after a transaction
After we process a payment, there should be an option to select a main email accounts to send the payment receipt. At the moment, we have to manually type in the email account each time we want to send the receipt to our email.
This will save time and also reduce error by not needing to manually type in the email for most transactions.

upload tax rate file
A way to upload a file for tax rates would be beneficial for the VT merchants that have to manually choose tax rates based on where they are shipping goods. Right now each tax rate has to be manually uploaded if they do not have items.

If an item is used more like a category on an online menu, there should be no price or the option to add a range of prices
most of my menu items have 3 sizes/prices. To save room, I have the item listed, and clicking the item reveals the sizes and prices. This is fine. My issue, is that the item itself shows a price of $0.00. That's confusing and embarrassing. I suggest that if a price is set to $0.00, the price should not show at all. I have several items, so to save space and lots of customer scrolling to find their items they want, this system works best for our online menu. i don't want to have to triple the size of my online…

End of day icon for balancing registers that is not tied to REPORTING.
As it stands, DAILY SALES figures are only accessible in REPORTING. Therefore, employees that balance registers have full access to company sales figures for the entire year and beyond. Access to yearly/monthly/weekly sales figures & sales reports should be limited to owners/senior management. Clover needs an END OF DAY icon. It should have a filter for ALL REGISTERS, REGISTER #1, REGISTER #2, etc without having the ability to see weekly, monthly, yearly figures. This needs to be addressed ASAP. Thank you for this forum to offer ideas.

Customer Purchase History Transfer
Customer purchase history needs to be able to be transferred from one Clover sales channel to another. At this time there is no 3rd party app to assist with purchase history - only customer name. This is important for repeat business and for the merchant to engage on going with their customers.

“Points towards perks” should actually reflect points
“Points towards perks” should actually reflect points. I entered a receipt code from a $3k, purchase the receipt said “Get 3707 points towards perks”. Then I entered a code from the same establishment where my receipt said “Get 12000 points towards perks”. I got the same exact 5% off QR for the $12k purchase as the first purchase. So there are no points - this is a garbage gimmick. And if the “point reward” is chosen by the vendor, perhaps you should advise them that not offering a “reward” would be better than finding out they give everyone the same…

processing fees
we need to be able to check in real time what the credit card fee is that we are being charged for each transaction. because your invoice system directs the payments to the bank without pausing for authorization we are now incurring fees on every invoice instantly on payment. BUT if the customer changes their mind in a few minutes or the next week we are unable to know what fees to charge them for making the return that quickly. 30 days is far too long to wait and not know what to charge the customer that is returning the…

fullfilment of orders
when an item is paid it can then be marked as ship to, partially paid, pick up and once that is done then they can mark it as such. Also create a report so they can see these items in this status.

Update to my "clover rewards not working" issue
Full disclosure regarding my "clover rewards not working" complaint write up:
My previous write up was extremely critical and I want to now speak of a much better customer service experience.
Today, tech customer service rep, Rodney, helped me to see that my rewards program is working as intended by reviewing my dashboard. My issue was not the rewards program.
The problem we still have, however, is our orders app on our clover duo is not working correctly when our customers "check in" with their phone number. Include inventory listings (to tap on) in the “payments” plan instead of using text. I
I have only one device. For years, I could simply tap on a “description” of the service I was charging for. It automatically generated the category and the price. The feature was free. When I heard that I would no longer be “grandfathered” in at that free level, I was informed that I could still have the feature if I upgraded to “essentials”. Merchant would like to have a house accounts option
Since Clover does not offer a built-in house accounts feature, the merchant must rely on third-party applications. House accounts allow customers to prepay funds and have purchases deducted from their balance each time they visit.

Subcategory
The new Subcategory feature is great for organizing our gift shop items, but it's biggest downfall is that you are NOT able to access, edit, or add to Subcategories within the Inventory app on the POS terminals or handheld devices. This makes it very difficult to enter new items that we want to place into a Subcategory, especially if they have an already existing barcode that we want to include with the item when creating.
