Date's to Inventory
Are you able to add the date an item was entered (or last updated date) and the last time it was purchased? This is important because it will help monitor items that sale and items that don't sale. If the item doesn't sale then this could help identify what items should go on sale or be discounted. This could also shape the direction of the store and keep movement within the store. This can also help with all the trends that change on social media. This can also help see items that are doing well in the store.

inventory reporting
Inventory Reporting is pretty non-existent. I would love to have a report in Clover that shows the current value of your inventory. I have to export it to excel each day and then manually multiply my Quantity on Hand by my Cost and then sum the results. Also when it exports to excel, there is no category so you can't get any reports by category. This is important to most retailers.

Inventory sorting
There needs to be a way to sort inventory other then just by "item name" or "in stock". We have multiple items with no category assigned and trying to find them is near impossible and VERY time consuming.

Allow Quantities Over 99
This seems like it should be a very basic feature, but it is super frustrating to not have the capability to enter item quantities of over 99. If I had known this wasn't possible I would not have purchased Clover. However I did not think about it not being available because it is ridiculous. I have had to redo my entire inventory as bulk items and has increased the complexity of orders and really slowed down efficiency and accuracy of staff. I've called multiple times and no staff person at Clover can seem to even answer why the quantities are…

Combined Reporting
On Clover.com, in the Sales Activity > Transactions section, Payments, Voids, Manual Refunds, Refunds and Authorizations are all broken up into seperate sections. For reconciliation purposes, my merchant is manually exporting Payments, then Refunds, then Voids and stitching those three exports together. Hoping that these broken up sections will all be better integrated into a single section in the future. This is also a gap between Payeezy and Clover. Payeezy put all the various transaction types into a single screen, and exportable report.

Designate customers as tax exempt
We need to be able to assign customers as tax exempt and include an expiration date. This would automatically remove tax from any of their orders. If a customer was designated as tax exempt but is close to expiring or already expired, a pop-up should come up so we can let the customer know we need a new certificate of tax exemption.

Exchange order items rather than just delete and re-add a new item
When an item has been upgraded or exchanged on an open order, the original must be deleted and the new item added. This still shows the item on the removed items report, but since it was an exchange or upgrade, then it doesn't reflect the transaction properly.

NEW Employee Sales Report - Number of Transactions per Employee
Recently Clover released a new version of the Employee Sales Report under Reporting. The previous employees report showed the total number of transactions ran that day per employee. This was helpful for my retail merchants for a number of reasons. One in particular was so they can calculate their employees average ticket size.
Strangely enough the New Employee sales report does show the average ticket size but it is only available and viewable on the Employee Sales Report in the Dashboard. not on the devices :(
That being said a vast majority of my retail merchants noticed the change immediately…

Returns
When a customer is returning or exchanging an item. There should be a way to just do that on the register screen without having to find the original order. We offer returns up to 90 days and after 30 they disappear from the history.
We should be able to scan the item and choose a "return" option. Then they can purchase anything else they want or we can refund them how they would like.7 votes -
Allow Date Filter for the Orders App
Many of my Merchants have requested the ability to filter the Orders tab by a certain date much like the dashboard. I realize the Orders tab on the devices only allow data for the past 30 days but being able to select and show only Orders for "Today" or "Yesterday", Or "Last Week" would be very helpful just to quickly filter the orders that show up. For restaurants that deal with managing a large number of orders each day this filter would be extremely helpful. Much like the Order Status filter which filters the orders by "Open", "Paid" "Refunded", etc.…

Zero out existing on hands in inventory
I would like to zero out “on hand” quantities of ALL inventory in order to do a physical inventory of the store. This would allow us to see what items are still at zero after the inventory. We can then decide to delete items no longer carried at the store. We carry 2-3 thousand skus and dead inventory builds up. Maybe have a dead inventory or slow moving inventory report.

Item sales reporting- fix Categories tab
In item sales reporting, when looking at Categories, please fix the All Categories checkbox to allow to select and DE-select all. It currently only allows you to select all and manually de-select categories. It would be easier if it worked to select and de-select all as an option when you have more than 50-100+ categories for retail.

Bundle items for discount
We need the following option in order to create an automatic discount on certain items bought together.
1. The ability to bundle items together, to create a new item in the inventory. When this bundle item is bought, all items in the bundle are removed from inventory.Real life example: if you buy item A, it is $8. If you buy item B, it is $10. If you want to buy both together, it is $15. It is currently impossible to apply this bundle discount on the Online Menu ordering. Also, it can easily be forgotten by employees in shop,…
