Exchanges with more flexibility
We use Clover for our retail business and would like more flexibility with exchanges. Many times, the exchange is not for an exact priced item. The work a round is time cumbersome - Issue an in-store credit, because sometimes the item can't be refunded. Create a new sale for the exchange for items and then pay via a split transaction of in-store credit and regular payment.

Popup confirmation
Popup confirmation before completing the refund. At the moment I have seen a lot of accidental refunds when trying to re-print a receipt on the Transactions App.

Void the payment without voiding the order
If a card was ran on an incorrect bill and refund was issued (refund is the only way to void the credit card payment), a new order needs to be created and sent to the kitchen to process the card with the correct amount. There is no way to edit the order after the payment was refunded. Much needed in a restaurant environment - servers run cards on incorrect tables, customers realize their portion of the bill was split incorrectly, etc. Need to be able to void the payment without voiding the order. Returns and Exchanges Help
Hi - I am the manager of a small to mid size retail store and we are really struggling with returns and exchanges on the Clover. Especially at the time of purchase, we aren't able do an exchange and issue a credit on the same transaction. If we could do that, our lives would be a lot easier. In addition- we would like for manual refunds to have an item associated to the dollar amount going back to customer for inventory reasons. Thank you

Permissions for refund app.
When an owner sets permission on employee app for refunds to only be allowed by an admin or manager, Merchant notices that on the reporting app under employee report, the refund is not reporting on the original employee that took the original payment, it is being recorded under the admin or manager because they are the last one who handled that transaction, however this is very inconvenient on the reports as I think it should be reported under the person who took the original payment as managers and admins are not the cashiers, they just want to secure that employees…

Allow refunds of Cash transactions on Clover.com Dashboard
I had a situation where an employee gave a customer a correct amount cash refund but had trouble completing it on the Device due to getting busy and just forgot about it. She turned in the appropriate paperwork to me in my office. However, when i went to the transaction to refund it the option was not available to issue the refund.

Expanded refund/ exchange options
Merchant wants to be able that when a customer is returning an item he could scan to process a refund and also on the exchange bottom he wants to be able to choose items with different prices and see the whole inventory to pick the item the customer is asking for

Scan/Attach items to Manual Refund
Our business would like to be able to scan or attach an item to a manual refund. We’d like the software to also register sales tax, etc on the refund as we’re currently having to do it on a calculator outside of register. Gets very complicated with larger orders. This makes sense if it were laid out identical to the “register” except total become a credit/refund to the customer rather than a sale.

Refund Process
Hello,
The Refund Process do not work correctly, it should work like the discount process, where the waitress ask for approve and a pop up screen is displayed for a manager pin. At that point the manager will enter he/her pin. Since it does not work with way and the manager need to log into the system to refund an order, the refund order is logged under the manger shirt report and not the waitress shirt report. Returns & Exchanges Suggestions - Coming from a retailer
May I suggest a few things.
Allow for a merchant to denote an item scanned/rang in on the register screen as a *refund/exchange. If the total amount is negative, the "PAY" button is inactive, a "refund" button appears and then the CREDIT is issued back to the customer. An option on the item screen near discounts or something to denote it as a "refund/exchange" item is what would make most sense.

Difficult time with returns and exchanges Clover POS
We are having a very difficult time adjusting to returns and exchanges on the Clover POS. We need negative items available on "Register" so we are able to handle promotional sales we do occasionally as well as exchanges towards the purchase of new product. Please advise. Thank you.

Returns and Exchanges to show up on same transaction
Please allow for merchant to ring up a customer, allowing returns and exchanges to show up on the same transaction from Register. This will allow a way more seamless, fluid process. Thank you.

Refunds without receipt issue
We have an issue when issuing a manual refund to a customer without a receipt, there's no way to attach a generic item or specific item to it. Why can't I scan an item or attach a item in the inventory to it? We're in retail and that would make sense. Reporting is very off because of this problem.
