Penny Rounding for Cash Transactions in Canada
As you may know, Canada has abandoned pennies for all cash transactions.
And pennies will be automatically rounded up for $.03 and more, and rounded down for $.02 or less.
This has been universal among all POS systems and Banks in Canada, and I hope Clover can adapt to this quickly, otherwise it's going to cause reconciliation issues

Negative amount
Many Market and convenient stores need negative amount for lotto payout.
Many restaurant, Bars, night clubs, take deposits for big parties and want to account for a deposit and apply it to current order as a negative about.

Add card icon to customers with saved card on file in web dashboard
On the Customers summary and detail page on the web dashboard, add a card icon to the saved customer's record so merchants can quickly see which customers have a saved card on file. Currently merchants have to go in one by one in, click on an order, then view receipt, to determine if there is a card saved. Or they have to query through the Virtual Terminal.

Keep tab open after partial payment
In the Clover Dining app, allow a partial payment to be applied to a tab and leave the tab open for more orders and have balance paid later.
Use Case:
A group has a tab open. One person from the group has to go and wants to pay either for specific items or a specific amount towards that tab before leaving. The rest of the group is staying and will continue to order drinks and food.
Currently, if a payment is applied, you can no longer add items to a tab.

Clover On-Line - Hosted Checkout
We are trying to use Hosted Checkout so our clients have the ability to pay an invoice on-line at their convenience. The button on our website brings you to the "hosted checkout" which requires the user to in-put their name as well as their credit card info. HOWEVER, the name is not transmitted with the payment information. How are we to know who's paying us?????

Clover go g2 skip zip code
Allow the option to do enter country code/phone number or skip on clover go g2. Clover go g1 is being phased out and the option is not availed on the g2 app.

Currently it only asks for card and billing info. We have merchants needing the ability to have custom fields for their payment button. Examples could be: Invoice #, Account #, or a note.

REMOVE SERVICE CHARGE AUTOMATIC DISCLOSURE
Remove the automatic BOLD disclosure of the service charge on the bill.
This should be an option if the merchant wants it disclosed on the bill. This causes less tipping for servers in clover dining

Allow an option to backdate transactions
Merchant's want an option where they can backdate transactions in the event that the transaction could not be processed until long after the actual date that the transaction was done.

Remove the Cancel button for contactless payments
On the Flex, there is a cancel button while the transaction is being processed only for contactless payments. This cancel button does not appear for any other transaction type such as EMV chip. Would like to have this cancel button removed for contactless payments.

Dynamic Currency For Virtual Terminal
The merchant would like the ability to accept dynamic currency without the use of hardware. No workaround available workaround at this time. Also, make the feature available for use with card holders other than Visa and Mastercard

Clover Dining: Add incremental authorizations
Currently, Clover Dining offers pre-auth for bar tabs, but if the pre-auth is greater than the order total, we have to pre-auth the card again to increment the pre-auth. Authorizations app has this functionality and better yet, once a card is pre-authorized, we can increment it without card present because the authorization is already saved, but it's no help because we need to manage out tabs and tables through Clover Dining.

Back Button during manual entry
On the flex device, if a CVV is input incorrectly the entire transaction must be restarted.
Rather than retyping the entire credit card number again it would make sense to have a back button, and the clear button seems to be perfect for this. When the data is cleared from press 1, pressing clear a 2nd time should return you to the previous screen.
Similarly, when a manual entry is declined it would be nice to have the data still in place for a second attempt but with the option to edit the price.

Manual Card Entry Button, needed back but as an Option on Individual Profiles
Bring back the Manual Card Entry button. Otherwise make the button optional so that we can turn it on for staff profiles as desired.
I understand the type of fraud we are avoiding by not having the button customer facing. But it should be optional at the management level. In our location all sales are manual entry so this change has caused several additional steps per transaction and will require some light but unnecessary staff retraining, then will continue to waste time per transaction with new steps every single time.

If merchants require manual entry on your Flex, you can use the phone sale app. If using the Register app, you can use the Mail/Phone Order button when selecting a payment method.

Add POS Payment Feature
Currently when accepting EBT (Food Stamps), customers are only legally allowed to purchase food items using this method of payment.
When ringing up their purchases and selecting EBT/Food, the POS system is currently allowing ALL items to be purchased on EBT instead of just the allowed, non-taxable food.
Other POS systems at most stores have the ability to differentiate among approved food items and non-approved other items within a single transaction.
Customer support says we need to ring up food as a separate transaction or manually total the food items up and do a manual split payment for the food…
